Man thread!!

Real man can build his own home in the wilderness.
These pictures were taken in 1971,72,73. I built this log cabin from the trees on site. Built without power equipment (except a gas chain saw).
5 miles of 4 wheel drive road to get there. We lifted everytning with rigging & block&tackle, you can see it in the pictures.
Let's see what each of you have done that's "Man worthy"?
Not pics of the girls you dream about, man stuff you've done personally

Pretty impressive Doublejj. I had help building this house. We used power tools too. The drive in might have been a little worse than yours. =) Anyway your cabin is awesome.

I think you just won.

Thanks johnny. After a tour in Viet Nam as a Combat Medic, I was looking for someplace to get away. Working on the cabin gave me something to focus on, besides the faces I would see every time I closed my eyes.
Viet Nam was my worst nightmare, every day!
I'm sure the cabin saved my life

I saw this video posted this on another thread & it reminded me of why I wondered off into the wilderness & built the cabin
