Hit the nail on the head! The VAST majority of Americans have absolutely no disposable income after they pay for the necessities, so they obviously have no exposure in the stock market.
The wealthy derive most of their "income" via capital gains, and pay a paltry 15% in capital gains taxes.
Wanna level the field? Increase capital gains taxes to 30%, and leave taxation on ordinary income alone.
