Australian Animal Cruelty has stopped me wanting to eat meat - COMPLETELY.

Now I thought he was referring to the Dirty Surfrboard, which when it gets happy is trying to get free of the packaging. None too sure about the "market" bit however. :? cn

That sounds like conspiracy-laden rubbish to me.

Animal Welfare groups will never ERADICATE meat as a food.

Look at all the gutless politicians who won't legalize canna. They're running the country, and won't risk a single business lunch for the minority of us who smoke buds, simply because they'd lose their place in parliament.

You think these very same politicians are going to allow Animal Rights Activists to vanquish meat? .. Gimme a break.

I don't care anyway, about the politics of anything - just the animals.

Too each one of those cows, their life is just as important as yours is to you.

They eat grass, shit, and live a pretty peaceful life they don't even eat other animals: they're cows. They just .. graze.

I honestly believe that just one animals life is worth 50 human lives. Animals haven't fucked everything they've touched right throughout history, we have.

And don't start nitpicking about some species of jellyfish that's blocking out sun getting to the coral or silly shit like that: The moment any animal starts over-populating any area, we cull them down to almost none. And yet, when humans over-breed, that's okay huh? What's another 500 million third-world people shitting up the water, raping one another, and living in filth and shit. God forbid, we wouldn't want to waste a single, precious HUMAN live! .. Thank GOD for people culling each other.

We as a species will wipe ourselves out pretty soon anyhow, so chin up! That's some good news :)
You know, for the most part, I agree with your assertion that humanity has been too aggressive on Earth. I think that we have over populated the planet and are now trying to blame our activities on other things. The key word is "blame."

Humanity is responsible for the upcoming shortage of fuel, lands space and other resources. Killing an unknown number of other species will not mediate the crisis we are rushing toward.

True ecologists, and I'm talking humans now, will insist on no children, on recycling, and on letting other species live.

How is a surfboard meaty though?
I have deduced Dirtsurfr's 'dirty surfboard' is something intended to be ridden. However, judging from your lack of enthusiasm when discussing a lack of packaging, I draw the conclusion he likes pussy (yay) and you don't want his dick unless it is wrapped... with an optional bow and gift tag

I guess that makes me a true Ecologist then! :)

I haven't spawned any children, I recycle - well useful things at least, and I'm so animal friendly, the other day I had a bag of dry Motherwort leaves in a zip-lock. I am just standing there choppin' up when I here "click.. scratch scratch scratch" Apparently, a bug had been locked in the bag with the dried plant matter. So I open the top the bag, and sit in on the window-sill so the bug can make it's way back out :)

The only animal I'm happy to kill is the common house-fly. I absolutely LOATHE them. Any insect that starts its live in a garbage bin, writhing around in dirty nappies and discarded menstrual pads has no place in my heart whatsoever.

What reinforces my hate for flies, are those summer flies that won't farking LEAVE YOU A-LONE! .. swat-swat-swat! little arse!! "COME ON THEN! Fucking land on me ONE MORE TIME you filthy disgusting creature! COME ON AN' BRING IT!!!!"

I have got so annoyed trying to slap a fly on occasion I've slapped myself instead, and once that happens, I SNAP and woe to any fly dumb enough to fly within my general area.

Hate em. Just hate em.

I think they killed more than their share. Just sayin. And I would think that having cows that could actually walk around would make them less fat and more muscle...I would prefer lean meat over fat....
they kill what thier limit is, so do i....it keeps mother nature stable .... all meat that cant be consumed is ALWAYS donated to people who cant afford to eat......jus sayin

Oh, oh, OK, there's a man thread for the dick talk. Let's not talk dicks.
Did I mention a certain anatomical feature by name? Someone doth protest too much, methinks

Such a perfect straight line should not go unremarked. I thought I was suitably understated, so to speak. cn

I hear you on this one! Flies are the bane of my existence in the summer time. I cannot stand them.

I skipped through the last pages because i'm about to eat dinner, but I just wanted to say if it hasn't been said already, that plants are living things to. So eating plants would be no different than having "dead shit" on a plate. I'm all for being against animal cruelty. But if you're against cruelty to living things, why stipulate? And please don't give me some bullshit about how animals are more advanced biologically and higher evolved and have more complex nervous systems capable of feeling pain and suffering. Plants are just as alive as animals, and respond to stressors in their environment in order to sustain life. If you aren't going to eat meat, you might as well not eat broccoli or turnips either.
