Yeah I think they are looking pretty good. It seems like everyday the flowers get bigger. I am hoping for some nice buds out of these.

I checked out your thread and they seem to be doing good as well.

looking good bro. feeding any guano tea yetQUOTE]

Yes I have, I have been using the following per gallon of water and I use this every 3rd to 4th watering.
2 Tbs Mollasses
5 Tbs Sea kelp
5 Tbs Jamaican Guano
I let this bubble for 24 to 48 hrs and then use it.

I did one using Sea kelp, Shrimp Compost, Mollasses, Jamaican Guano and Worm castings about a week ago.

One question I have is can watering with a tea be over done? Is it safe to water with a tea everytime I water?

Hello guys, I have a question on the temps in my room.
Since moving to 12/12 and the colder temps where I live the night time temps in my room have dropped. I am running between 72deg and 77deg with the lights on and it will drop down to 61deg to 65deg with the lights off. Is this something that I should be concerned with and try to correct or will it not have any ill effects on the girls?
I thought about it and just thought it would be ok as these are the temp ranges outside in the late summer/fall where I live so I figured it would be ok but wanted to ask to make sure.

i agree. those temps are good and you might even get some coloring out of the deal depending on what genetics the bagseed are. about the tea, you can safely use that tea without the worry of burn but i would water every so often too. i would use plain water every third watering. you could also use more guano per batch but it definitely looks like your plants are liking what there getting.

Cool, thanks for the imput o the temps. As for the color, I assume you are refering to a red to purple color?? if so I have some of this coloring in the stems of my fan leaves. It is only in the the stem of the fan leaves and not in the main stem or in the leaves themself.
I noticed today that I am starting to see that the buds are starting to produce some triches on the leaves around them. They are very slight right now but are starting to become more pronounced.

It seems like they are shooting out white hairs very rapidly, and are starting to swell more and more every day. I am really excited on the progress and cant wait to reap the benifits of the work I have put into this grow. The wife is FINALLY starting to become excited about the grow as she can see that the time and work I have put into this is starting to show some sign of return. It will be nice to sit down with her and share the boumty of this gow, I am sure that after this grow is finished she will want to become more involved in the next grow as she has already started to talk about what we should do for the next grow.

I would really like for this grow to produce enough bud to hold us off for awhile to allow us to grow out some nice sativa bud as both her and I enjoy the benifits of a nice sativa.
Does anyone have ant suggetions on a good sativa? something that is relatively easy for a noob, has a decent yield and thatwould fit into the paremeters of my current grow?

Thanks for the help.....

Ok guys, I have a question... Some of the bottom leaves seem to be dying. The are not turning yellow, the stay green just get slightly wilted and turn crispy. This is happening to all 3 plants, it is not all the bottom leaves just some of the bottom 6"-8" I am sure they have not had anything spilled on them. Some of them are only on the tips, again they do not turn yellow at all.
They are about 23 days since flipping to 12/12.

Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!!

Hey guys, Here are a few pictures of the bottom leaves. With a closer look I do have some leaves that are yellowing at the bottom as well. Let me know what your thoughts are.
Is this just a normal process of the plant taking the life of the bottom leaves to give to the buds? or is it from lack of light on the bottom of the plant?

Ok guys, let me know what you think. These are pictures of the 3 girls at 24 days of flowering. One got fimmed about a week before flipping to 12/12 and the other two did not. One looks stretched out and I dont know if the bud on that on is going to fill in much. the other one looks ok.

Let me know you thoughts.

dude your plants look fine. in pic 12 those yellow spots kind of look like the beginning of a MG deficency but overall your plants are healthy bro. the lower leaves definitely look like its from a lack of light and from the looks of the rest of your plants it wont matter one bit. keep doing what your doing and for the next few weeks i would up the P & K and also topdress with more castings.

Cool, thanks for taking a look at them and helping me out.
What should I do if anything about the Mg deficency?
As for upping the P and K .... I have the Guano that has a 10 for P and what should I use for the K??
Can you take a "guess" at approx. how much longer they have left to go before harvest? I know that it will depend on the Trichromes but just looking for a ballpark time frame.

Thanks again

for MG you can water with 2 tsp per gal epsom salts every 4-7 days. i would do a guano and kelp tea but just up the guano. i would use 1 cup each of EWC and guano and about 1/4 cup of kelp for 5 gallons of tea. also 1 tbsp /gal molasses. for harvest it is hard to tell since you have unknown genetics so i would start checking with a loupe around day 50 or so and keep an eye from there. your plants definitely have a sativa influence so it wouldnt suprise me if they take 9-11 weeks to flower.

Well I watered today with 2 tsp of epsom salt added per gallon water. They seem to be doing good, the buds are starting to fill out more and more each day.
I just started bubbling a tea consisting of 1 cup EWC, 1 Cup Peruvian Guano, and 1/4 cup Of Kelp meal with 1Tbs Mollasses to 5 gallons of water. I will let this work for 2 days adding more mollasses tomorrow and maybe a little bit of a shrimp compost as well.

I was at the Hydro shop today and bought myself a Loupe, just getting ready for the day to get here when they are done...LOL I was checking out the trichs today (you know how it is when you get a new toy... You have to try it out) and they look sweet under a loupe in person.

Thanks for the help Farmerjoe.

I watered yesterday with the tea I brewed up. I watered full strength and they seem to love it so far. My next watering will be with just water aand mollasses.
The buds look like they are starting to bulk up nicely and trich produce is increasing daily. I had a few leaves that were pretty yellow on the bottom that I took off, they came off with little to no resistance so I figured they were ready to be removed.
I will try to get some fresh pictures up in the next couple of days to show everyone the progress they have made.

They still have not started to put out much odor yet. I dont know if it the strain or if this is normal for the stage they are in right now????
