It won't really affect the growth, no. Spraying the leaves will get some water to them quickly, yea. If they're super dry and wilted or something, then giving water to the roots and leaves simultaneously may make them come back quicker, but foliar feeding on a regular basis isn't necessary or helpful. If you have a nute deficiency, sometimes foliar feeding them whatever it is that they need will help them recover quickly.

And never foliar feed during flowering. Causes bud rot.

ok if thats true. then why doesn't my bud rot when it rains. I grow outdoors and indoors. I started off with 14 mothers. planted them on jan first.
veg them for 2 and half months untill they pre flowered under 18/6. then i put them outside. and everybody told me they would reveg. but instead but buds are really staring to put weight on. And I live in north texas. the rain and sun are the shit these are the best buds i have ever seen.

im spraying my leaves about twice a day, my humidity is low and spraying them tends to help them out.

king has a point. id just aim for the leaves then and not spray too much on the bud portions. the light or sun will dry up the leaves quickly and/or the leaves soak up what they can.

its recomended not to mist in flowering i find that it isnt needed unless you have problems yea everyone likes a shiny green plant but if your not carefull other problems arize from just misting to mist like, burns from magnified water, and bugs, mold if my plant is ok and green i dont mist anymore it has screwed me at times of overkill

burns from magnified water means your light setup is really gnarly. mold and bugs perhaps but i think it's best to keep the leaves moist and happy. they shouldnt feel all brittle that's for sure.

You don't want the bud wet, hence why I said "never foliar feed (i.e. spray your plants with water and/or nutes) during flowering."

And kingkush: wet bud will not always cause bud rot (obviously, or else no where would grow outdoors), but that's when you're at a RISK for rotting/mold. Usually, the bud gets soaking wet but then has a chance to dry off, so it's okay. If you got days and days of rain and flooding, then you'd be at extremely high risk for bud rot. Plus, the older the plants are, the more likely it is to happen since the shit is denser (hence why people sometimes have to harvest early to avoid the mold from spreading everywhere). See Browndirtwarrior's videos/thread if you don't believe me. He had to selectively cut the plants that were molding first, so they wouldn't become totally worthless.

Standox had it right: you only foliar feed to fix a specific problem...otherwise, there's no point and it is too risky (during flowering).

For several reasons. Outdoors your plants have proper ventilation. They also have the proper humidity. Both of which effectively stop any mold. At times during an indoor grow a grower may struggle maintaining the proper ratios and amounts and bud rot will ensue.

it's weird to me when ppl ask questions about what to do, then they talk about their ONLY options for their case, ie. no lights, dont have setup. just put the damn things outside bro. what is the alternative, throw them away? no. so do what u gotta do, when you have all the proper stuff or time or whatever then ask questions when you have more options.

How many weeks into flowering are they / when did you put them into flowering?

If they should finish within the next 3 weeks then you're all set for sure. Beyond that, it's gonna get reaaal iffy and they may get screwed up and reveg. Or they may just keep on flowering... I don't really know. BUT if they do reveg, they won't die or anything; it just means you'll have to wait for the fall. At worst, they could turn into hermies from revegging, but probably not. They'll live... no worries mate.

burns from misting doesnt nessisarily means narly light set up if you mis to much the water droplets act as a sort of magnifiying glass and will cause brown spots if to close to light even without drops of water left to sit you can still brown the leaves of the plant,.

I've found during VEG it's cool to spray and for me necessary. Neem oil, seaweed extract, bat guano tea or nutrient tea (all in light, light, light doses), have helped my plants and therefore yeld. I wouldn't like to grow without volar feeding in VEG.

Can be beneficial in First three weeks of flowering (gentil shower, nothing like the hose-down monsoon of veg)

A spray while in flower story: I have really beneficial L.A. Confidential Mom in flower (we are talking MILF of Marijuana, a true California Beauty). She had some spider mites (I think, could have been too close to the light) so I sprayed her with RO (Reverse Osmosis-distilled) water.

I broke the gentle shower rule (well, actually I just made it up) but it probably was a bad idea anyway. All that movement when I shake of the water (I should have been more gentile baby, I'm sorry baby, I'll change I really will), and water (weight) made her a little "shock" decreased growth, a bit limp. Luckily nothing too bad (I did heaviest some sagging lower spears though...initial test as we speak...Thank you God for all my friends who download good knowledge and kick-down good clones. Lower bud, no cure just dry and FUCING OUT OF THIS WORD). She was in her eight week from flower period start, I'll be taking her to 12 or maybe lucky 13.

For me no folar feed after Third week of flower and then the gentilest of RO showers only when absolutely needed.

Water spraying becomes a factor like any other in the big equation. My girl came through it OK because I treat her well otherwise.
