All strains are fine in DWC. If you don't want fluffy bud, get good lights. What you grow in has nothing to do with fluffy/dense nugs.

white widow has been known to rack up about 14oz with proper room and technique. rumpleforeskin does it in a small ass room.
best bet is to scrog the plant... you will want to get about 2-5 grows with scrog to learn how the plant needs to be trained with your screen, once you get it down you can have 10-20+ donkey dicks sticking up.

So Sativas strains can produce rock hard buds?
Are 4 1k Hortilux bulbs, Raptor hoods, and Phantom ballasts good enough lights?

Never said rock hard. But they will get dense. Then again I guess it falls your opinion of what you consider "dense". Compared to a rock hard indica or hybrid nug, you still might consider it wispy. Is 4000w worth of lighting enough? I think you know the answer already if you're working with that.

Use Gravity and you can make any buds rock hard! LOL. Careful though you can ruin crops I have heard!

I just started a grow(DWC) under 2 1000w in Raptor hoods doing G-13's Pineapple Express & Barneys Phatt Fruity and its to early to tell but from what I have heard both strains are supposed to do well in a DWC system. If I was to do a "Bubblegum"...which I will my next grow.. I already bought the seeds and I like the way G-13's Blueberry Gum looks and have heard it produces real well.

I'm thinking of going with Mr. Nice(G13 x Hash Plant) and Durban Poison. Haven't found anything on anyone saying they do better in dwc. I haven't throughly researched these strains in dwc although.. Going along with what StickyFingerz said, I think they will do fine in dwc.
