I'm Growing five plants.

One amnesia
One White Widow
and three durban poison

Every single one is under the exact same conditions and watering schedule and all but one looks extremely well and healthy.

the medium I'm using is "Sunshine Aggregate Plus. mix #4"

They are under 24hours of light from florescent lights which don't get hot at all. The lights been on for 2 weeks straight now and I can hold my hand ON the bulb all day with no issues... if i was bored enough.

I'm not feeding any nutes yet and I've been using my regular tap water (I'm on a well) their entire life. And as i've said; the other four are in great condition.

Here are some photos; please help! haha.

Also, the weird colouring on the leaves have been there ALMOST since her beginning stages and nothing bad has seemed to come of it or raised any alarms until I checked on them this morning.

Durban Poison #1 (Problem plant): photo(1).jpgphoto(2).jpgphoto(3).jpgphoto(4).jpgphoto(5).jpgphoto(6).jpg

And as you can see the colouring hasn't effected the under side of the leaves.

I'll create an Edit once i get the other photos of the other plants so you guys can see I'm not BS'ing hahaha

I had the exact same problem with a leaf on one of my plants. I am not sure what it was for certain, but at the same time I was doing research and found out that for sunshine mix (and other soiless) you want your ph pretty low and I am using the exact same soil as you, #4 aggregate.
I bought some PH down, started adding it to my water. Making my water about 5.5 ph, and had no further problems. The effected leaf didnt heal, but no new leaves had the problem.

Hmm, Maybe I'll go out and buy some PH equipment then once I get paid. I was hoping I wouldn't have to Muk around with that kind of stuff so early considering it's my first grow haha. Thanks for the input man!

You can buy PH test strips on EBAY pretty cheap if you dont want to spend a lot of bucks for good PH equipment.

Yeah I personally would not recommend sunshine mix. I tried it out experimenting with it and its been alot of work. The PH is definitely an issue with it. I bought one bag, unfortunately the one bag is 3.8cu 100lbs bag. Because I only grow for my own personal use I dont go through soil quickly. I am close to being through it though and will never buy it again.
There are several ways to lower PH, what has worked the best for me, and easiest, is just the ph down for pools and spas. Vinegar will do it as well, it just doesnt seem to last long. PH starts rising again pretty quickly with vinegar.

Yeah the only reason why I got it was cause Jorge Cervantes Recommended it in his video but maybe because he seems to treat his grows like a baby with Osteoporosis he prefers it cause it seems like a good Base of not to many variables. Well I have a hot tub so im sure I got PH down laying here some where haha. How much should I typically mix into the water?

Just a GUESS, add 1/8th of a capful into the gallon of water. I use a ph meter to get it into the range I want, which is generally around 5.5. Thats just about how much I use to get it there, 1/8th of a capful. If you want to go on the safe side, use a little less than that.

the potting soil mix for that plant, might be slightly off.

other than that, you really are crying over pimples :)

it looks fine.

next time you transplant it should correct itself.

ahah well i did say it's my first grow; so any of these issues are new to me. its better safe then sorry. I'd rather cry and find out there pimples instead of not crying and discovering a hemorrhoid.

thanks for then info!

I'm with SSO. If all plants are ok except for 1 (which looks minor to me) you are chasing a non-issue. If you keep worrying, you will burn a hole in your stomach. Just let er grow. If your new growth is fine, which it is, why the worry?

hahaha because it's my first grow. Just like a new father you're gunna be worried when your kid gets a cold. As i said b4 I wanna be safe and get a veterans opinion rather then assuming I know everything and act ignorant only to have her die haha

also I'm glad i brought this all to light because after doing a test on my tap water my PH is sitting at 8. So I'm definitely goings to lower it. Or do you guys think "Don't mess with success" so far?

There is truth to what they are saying, but at the same time, if you dont correct it now, the others WILL end up showing it. Preventative maintenance is MUCH better. Your PH is definitely high, fix it now, or deal with it later.

The real truth is, you just caught it early that doesnt mean ignore it. Its like ignoring a symptom then finding out you have terminal cancer. If you had caught it early enough they may have been able to do something.
