Problem with Pineapple express G13 Please Help!!!

Hello Guys,


Unfortunately since a couple of days a few leafs are getting yellow spots.I am on my second grow and I am using a Wilma system Hydroponic in a grow tent with 2x 400 watt MH on 18/24 and i am about to complete the third week in Veg.the feeding pump is running 24/7 and EC/PH are OK.I don't really understand what I am doing wrong and I hope that you guys can help me.

My first instinct would be nute burn, but you said the EC/PH was managed. Next most likely culrpit for that type of burn is heat. Less likely is bugs, but I'd definitely pull out a magnifier and give em a look top and bottom. Honestly, as a whole your girls look pretty good and wouldn't worry too much unless damage starts getting more wide spread.

Looks like a little nute burn. It really looks fine for the most part......relax. Back off the nutes, make sure your PH is 5.8, and see what they do from there. Nice looking canopy there.....you're good.

it started just after i have used Atami bio defense ( the minimum dose 1 ml per liter) which i have sprayed on the leafs could be that the reason? EC is 1.6 ph 5.7

imo its not nute burn but the start of a possible mg def. are u giving calmag supplement? the problem looks minor. but u are doing a good thing trying to catch it before it starts. yr plants are looking really good other than the slight yellowing.

I think she's hungry overall.. are you loosing your lower leaves? are they totally bleached or twisted?

I asked about the lower leaves to discard a N deficiency. When I say she's hungry I mean she looks a little pail/yellow not green and lush, although she's good it just looks fragile right now and deficient. I'm not saying to rise the ppm, actually too much of one thing locks another elements and that's what I think is actually going on.. PH flux damage.. did you buffered the hydroton before using it? also being adding too much salts doesn't help either.

The hydroton wasn't used before and I washed with tap water before using it...should I have done it different?

I'm guessing it's mites sucking the juices from under the plant leaves. Get a magnifying device and search for eggs/mites under the leaves.

Yes mate, Hydroton takes about 24 hours to prep. First you gotta take most of the powdery shit out rising real good while rubbing the pebbles against each other. When they are clean, you must soak them in water and set the PH to 5.5, it's going to rise a lot so check and adjust every 3-6 hours until it stays stable at 5.5. Rinse again and you're good to go.

if this would be that cause then i should have some problem with the Ph...but it is pretty stable ....I don'really now what it was but it looks like they are going better since yesterday...I found different information's regarding this:

• Hydroton is made from 100% clay and it is PH inert, meaning it is neither acidic or alkaline. The only preparation needed for use is rinsing off the dust, if you are using it new from a bag. PH will raise naturally for many reasons. I'd begin to look at other causes. Good nutrients will have PH buffering agents included. Also, a plant that is on the proper amount of nutrients, will rarely need any adjustment to the PH. I have a one gallon bottle of GH PH Down that I have had for more than 6 months. The bottle is still full enough that I can use a small dropper to withdraw some.​

Remember it's used for soil grows too. Cannabis & Hydro are a different story, but if it's stable like you said then it's not the medium but nutrient unbalance or burn.
