Shut down CNN.com during the Florida debate. In response to the establishment media blackout of Ron Paul, and specifically to the lack of equal time given to him in the debates, we the people will be blacking out the responses of all candidates except Ron Paul in the upcoming CNN debate in Jacksonville Florida on Thursday, January 26 at 8PM eastern standard time. This is a call to all who are willing and able to join this effort to show the establishment media that we will not tolerate the continued media blackout of Ron Paul, and that we will, in return, shut down the cnn website and their live stream of the debate.

We will do this by making a mass number of requests to the CNN servers starting at 8PM on Thursday, January 26 until the conclusion of the debate. We will cease making requests during those periods of time when Ron Paul is speaking.

Don't know if they are really going to do it and I am sure cnn probably has some backup servers unless their sys admins are RP FANS

So the people too poor to own a TV will be inconvenienced by ANON... Big whoop?

And BTW, isnt it hypocritical to do the very thing they are accusing the media as doing?

I can imagine it'd be pretty hard to time the stopping of those packets right when Ron is asked a question.

Something is very suspect about that group.. why aren't they covered more in the media for there crimes against the .gov? Your telling me they can't track anything? If so there is some huge money behind the group. Which brings the question, Who's money?

Everyone seems to think Anonymous are some leet hackers they ain't. I am part of the Anonymous network all it is is a large bunch of people that just plan numerous attacks and if anyone feels like doing it they just take part in it. All we do is DDOS the websites and it eventually shuts down if there is enough people doing it at the same time. Theres probably quite a few members of Anon here.

Exactly, that was bullshit.

Everything Anon does they claim to have some benevolent cause, but actually only hurts the people they pretend to be standing up for.

They hit PSN, VISA/Mastercard card approval, shut down Wells Fargos ATM's for 24 hours... Yeah, that shit really hurt the businesses.

Anon didn't hit the PSN, it's completely outside their modus operandi and implies they're all Xbox players, which in fairness like, yeah right, those guys actually know computers, why would they buy an Xbox?!

They even came out said they didn't hack the PSN...why would they deny their highest profile hit to date?

Clearly anon doesn't think about who their attacking and who the effects of it impacts.

It was supposedly some subgroup of Anon that did it.

Anon never cares who they attack sometimes even why. They have such a large group of users from literally all over the world from all sorts of backgrounds like right now there is about 3,000+ different users posting on their forums right this minute, thats not even including the majority of the people that just lurk. If I decide I want to attack MSN for what ever reason I just post up an attack date and reasons why etc and if someone you get enough support they will attack it.
