Ready to buy: Which CO2 controller to get?

I plan to keep my grow around 1500 ppm. I am currently running the tank on a timer. My grow is sealed with AC and dehumidifier. It is a 4x4 secret jardin tent running 1000w on a 9 site rdwc.

I am really split between a Cap PPM-3 and a Cap PPM-4.

PPM-3:
Pros: More control.
Cons: cost more

PPM-4:
Pros: Cheaper, simpler.
Cons: Simpler.

I found the PPM-4's online for 190 shipped. I also found a PPM-3 refurbished with 5 year warrant for 250 shipper.

Is it worth getting the PPM3 to get a new unit and save 60 dollars? Is the PPM4 much better? Will I notice any difference in them in use?

I am going to order it tonight or tomorrow. If anyone has any input on this, please make me feel better about my choice! Thank you.

I prefer the sentinel cppm-4, but that may be to much $$ for you. it has a sensor with a photocell, it reads levels at plant height and up tp 16 ft away. it shuts off when the lights go out.

i have been looking at those but i just use a timer and alot careful calculations(enrichment times, time to disparate i test with simple co2 tester just so i know how long co2 stay in the area, vent times to balance co2 and humidity). i plan on buying the sentinal for later use... but as long as its small scale i probably wont buy a controller. but i have been thinking about it i think the downside is that you will need a dehumidifier because the same air will be constantly recirulating

My grow is sealed. Nothing goes in or out. I have the AC and dehumidifier all set up. The reason I want a controller is because I am concerned that I am either not filling tent with CO2 often enough or too often. The simple testers would cost me 30-40 before I got it dialed in. It isn't a money issue for me, it is about return on investment. I'm going to get like 20-30 ounces on this grow. What is 200 bucks?

That controls when the CO2 is released, it doesn't control the PPM. I appreciate you looking though.

My choices are:

PPM3 for 250$ (refurbished)

PPM4 for 190$

Both come with a 5 year warranty. I won't be buying them at that site, that was just the first place that popped up.

I have the Titan Atlas 1 co2 controller monitor with their regulator on a 50 lb bottle going thru perforated tubing that's below & around the two air cooled reflectors (600w hps). Have had zero problems with it and the bottle has barely moved off full in over 3 weeks. I set it for 1450ppm, altitude & it has an auto shut off for lights out period. Shop it, there are deals to be had.
