that's really saying something when you can convince a bunch of (primarily) young people who volunteered for a pointless war to donate to your pointless campaign.

What a horrible way to look at it. Are you suggesting that the military is all young and dumb? You know more about the wars than the people who are actually fighting them?

if you take into consideration how many people are in the military, it works out to less then 10 cents per person. yeah they must all really love that guy

i know enough to not want to volunteer in some pointless war.

and i never said they were all young and dumb, but primarily young. statistics will back me up.

If you're a young guy you might not understand an adult calling you young and dumb... But they are, most all kids 18-21 are dumb. That's life, you learn more when you get older.

And, as far as that original image goes, sources?

i remember back in high school, i scored pretty damn high on my asvab, basically 99.9th percentile on everything except mechanics and electric. combined with the fact that i spoke about 5 languages, they recruited me hard. made all sorts of promises about how young i could retire. i almost bit.

looking back over 10 years later, man am i glad i declined.

just random thoughts.

it's well documented, there is no disputing the veracity of his claim.

I want to know where from, besides RP who seems to be the only one who can make the claim. I see stretched and manipulated numbers, my count from the most official sources I could find put his total at around 65k, that is nearly half of what the PaulBots claim. I want to see some official sources considering RP is a big liar.

If you guys think that the majority of the military is 18-21, your view of the military is flawed. Also, once you join the military and realize that our overseas occupation is a joke and everyone hates us for occupying their countries, you cant just go home. You are stuck in the shit.

The military is a very appealing opportunity for those who have limited choices in life. For a lot of people, it is the only way to get a college education and better themselves. There is very intelligent people in our military and to deny that fact is shameful. You guys should listen to what our troops are saying about the wars. The fact is, the majority of the people in the military who are politically engaged support Ron Paul's foreign policies.

I got the top contributions from opensecrets.org. The charts of donation comparisons are all over the net and Ron Paul has brought this fact up many times during debates and has never been disputed. He has an ad in Florida showing these stats and you know damn well MSM would be all over that shit if it wasn't true. Instead they pretend it doesn't exist.

Check out where Mittens gets his support from, big surprise there. I am at least glad to see Obama gets most of his money from Tech companies.
