Fuckin right, I love this thread also glad to see there is still a little ghetto fever spreading around. +rep to you both on helping me bring this thread back to life. Both axion and concord dawn you both have some beautiful plants and it makes me feel good to know that you didnt have to do everything perfect, use the perfect nutrients, or the perfect light. Growing ghetto is worth it to me because I dont have a lot of space to work with and I love gardening, not just marijuana but all plants. I know that CFLs cant really even be compared to using HID lights, and Miracle grow cant be compared to advanced nutrients or soils, but those cheaper things still can produce good outcomes if done correctly. I myself use fox farms tiger bloom, and I love the results I am getting but for my first two grows I used miracle grow and molasses so my point is I dont care what critics say I do what I love doing.

thank you very much , most of the feedback i have gotten has been from one guy tellin me i should trash these , fix a room right and start over , well i dont have the money to start over dang it , so i will continue this way , right now they are under 3 250 watt mhs , when i start to flower in either late feb or early march i am going to scrape together a 1000 watt hps and use all 4 of my 250 mh's around the edges at an angle . Hopefully by the time this is ready to harvest i will have saved enough money to build myself a decent little room. I LOVE THIS THREAD.

Concord dawn how many watts of light do you have on both of those plants and what size space is that. I have about 250w of CFL on my blue moonshine plant and it is in a about a 3 sqf space and if needed I can add 100w more. I want to get a 77g cola bud, is that wet weight.

right about the same, 285, that was 11 bulbs thats 10 23 watt 2700k's and 1 27 watt 6500k and 2 18" strip lights in the corners. yeah wet right after i trimmed it up. heres a couple more shots. the box is 21 x 24 x 63 inches , it was 4 foot tall but i had to add a little to get the light higher, LoL. the boxes are u-haul grand wardrobe box and a large shipping box taped together, less than $15. who needs a tent, LoL. that 1 shot is my veg/clone/supply box that i use for drying, its 2 x 2 x 2, has a passive intake and 2 80mm fans to draw the air threw, works great. thats all i need for my little grow op, LoL.

Hey man what is your final dry weight with 280w of CFL did you average a 1/2 gpw or was it less, just curious. My plant is in week two of flower and today I decided to trim of the lower growth on the plant and some of the big fan leaves that are covering some of the top buds.

Yeah i emailed Dutchmasters nutrient company last year and requested a free sample so they sent me 3- 1ltr bottles of DM grow A, grow B, and silica. I told them I was starting a Hydro store in my area soon and was interested in there product in my store, but I needed to test it first because I dont sell product I dont in fact use myself before I sell it to a customer or know how the product compares to other top of the line nutrients.

I have the same amount of light as you just my space is much smaller, I have about 18"x10"x 3ft space and I manage to keep in cool with 7-27w 2700k, 2-26w 6500k, and 1-42w 2700k. When they get just a little taller I will put my 55w 2700k cfl underneith the canopy for light on lower branches, I will wrap the 55w in chicken wire so the leaves wont touch that bulb because it gets hot. I dont know why but my temps stay at my room temp when I add a bulb it goes up like 1-2 degrees so when I put the 55w in there it will probably be around 78-79 and my res temp will be like 66-68 because the res temp has been down at like 62 degrees for the past few weeks. In the end I will have 306w of light in a 2sft space, If I can manage to keep the temps like they are I will end up yeilding quite nicely I think. I keep my lights 2 inches away from the tops on the plants and they seem to love it so far. I am amazed at how white the little buds are and they dont even have crystals on them yet just hundreds of snow white hairs.

the last 2 autos i did, i got right at a half pound, just a hair under 8 oz's. the numbers came up to 224 grams, so not quite a gram per watt , not to bad.

LoL, no, thats a gravity fed watering system i came up with, its 1/4" hose with an on/off valve inline.sounds like you have it going on with your setup too.heres a shot of my lsd today, i just trimmed some of the fan leaves off to show the buds. its been 10 weeks of flowering today, i plan on choppin next thursday.

I used something like your drip system, but i used it for diy co2, I would mix up yeast, sugar, and water in jug then put two air tight holes in the top of the jug and hook air pump to one of the wholes and the other hole had a hose that ran down in the jug almost touching the mixture and that hose ran up above my plants and had tiny holes in it. My air pump was on a timer for three times a day for 15min. I see that you could hook air pump to your watering system and put on a timer that would force water up the tube and to your drippers around your plants.

It doesnt look bad bud those small flouro tubes will not be enough light to produce anything, hopefully your buddy has better light.

i thought about making it automatic, just never did, maybe 1 day. ive never used co2, might have to look in to that. i guess the jug would work for that, sounds about the same setup.

those are the tube lights i use for my side lighting, not bad for $10 at walmart. looks good shane, nice and ghetto, LoL.

i just ordered a carbon filter and 400 w hps and a 4 by 25 ft roll of mylar to cover all the wood ill upload more pics soon as im done !and i have plasstic lining and a air purification system i found for 15 bucks at good will 599 dollar unit right now.. works as a fan ac unit and air purifier.. works pretty well temps stay at about 63f
