6 weeks of flowering and still no hairs or bud! HELP ME!!!

Hey guys, my plant started its 12/12 cycle after 3 weeks of veg. (I know, not long enough) and it still doesnt have the mature hairs I see in pictures. It will have been flowering for 6 weeks this friday.
I actually have a few questions nobody has been able to answer yet.
1. Are the hairs im looking for different hairs than the ones that tell me its a female? (Cause it defiantly has those tiny little pistils.)
2.Where the hell do the buds start to form? I just want to know im looking in the right spots for first signs.
3.Im pretty sure its a sativa by what I have read (not positive) and it does say sativas take longer to bud, what does it look like to YOU?!
I just know big long hairs are supposed to grow, then the buds follow behind it. Its my first grow and I was already lucky enough to get a female, now lets get some buds!!!!

2) From those branches, or arms that are shooting out from above the sun leaves.
3) That plant looks indica dom to me. Sats would have much smaller, finger shaped, leaves.

6 weeks in and you should have some real nice flower growth. Regardless of Indica/Sativa dominance. I am guessing you have a major light leak somewhere as that plant looks like it is still getting more than 12 hours of light.

Thanks for replying! Alright I will do my best to plug any light leaks. say I did have one, and I plug it tonight, how long before it will get it going?

You will notice tons of 'flowers' starting to form by day 1 of week two.

Dont switch to 10/14. It has been proven, regardless of strain, that 12/12 is just enough darkness to make our favorite plants start to bud. There is no reason to deprive them of that extra 2 hours of light that they could be using to make fatter buds.

Thats helpful info, I have read so many different opinions on lighting and hours, I have no idea what to believe lol.

That plant will get alot taller
if you are in a closet and by the pictures i'd say you are , get ready for Bending , topping or tieing down ,
It takes 1-2 weeks to induce flowering ,
in 6 weeks you should be in the latter stages,
do some research or it will end in tears,
i would say that's a stretched Indica/Sativa Hybrid 70%/30%,

you have a light leak for sure. do not go 10/14. stick to 12/12 the whole way through flower.

That light you are using looks like a weak light. Need at least 2000 lumens a sq ft to produce anything good. Looks like a cfl and if it is, then that is your problem. Of course it could be a light leak but that tends to cause issues like hermies.

30w flo's that are 100w equivalents are not giving you much Lumens Umbre , your gonna struggle.

False. If the plant is not receiving enough light then it will continue to do nothing but grow. It needs enough energy to produce buds hence needing better lighting. A light leak can cause this but not six weeks in, had he a better light system then buds would be sure to produce.

I just went in the closet and plugged anything that even looked like it might be a leak. Lets hope in 2 more weeks ill start to see something. Im so eager to get my smoke on! COME ON BABY BUD FOR DADDY!!!

Light leak in your situation is even worse ,
because your not using much light anyway,
the light that is leaking in is affecting your plant greatly and causing it to grow on.
