No...Just one grow under my belt. It was called Nebula, it's sucks. Or it could just be me...being a Noob

yeah im just at the end of my first grow had 8 then 5 were male killed those strait away then i harvested one at 8 weeks got 12 ounces dry off her good turn out and im waiting for this huge one its bin 11 weeks still no ambers just cloudy

I would go ahead and harvest, they say once it turns amber, it losses potency

i got fem seeds now the just sprouted thats why i wanna pull the big ones out and get some strains goin in there its gonna be good if they all turn out to be females.as for the trichhs ive heard so many differnt things about em im just gonna rip it out on the weekend its got about a pound on it i reckon thats enough

hi everyone got two update pics of these monster buds that dont seem to wanna end for me its nopw 11 weeks into flower and still only cloudy trichs by looking at it in full i think im looking at a pound plus the trichs just wont go amberView attachment 2016333View attachment 2016338

yah!!! that's a good thing... sativa strains can take anywhere from 10-16 weeks man...depending on dominance, and they are still filling out...nicely too, why would you come this far... just to chop early??? sure the trichomes are all cloudy, and you could harvest?.... but i still see the buds swelling

I have never used the actual ph down solution stuff, but at this point I am better off getting it. I am definitely going to talk to the guy at the store and bring in a pic. lmao i wonder if he would look at an actual leaf if i brought that in...hahaha I have a ph tester but it is one of them shitty match the colors testers....i know for sure my ph isn't too high or too low. it is right in between 6.1 and 5.6 I might just get an electronic ph tester for the hell of it to make life a little easier.

^ nice pics....oh man. I just did some researching on plant deficiencies because my plants is looking worse this morning. I think I have found what is causing the problem. "High levels of potassium, ammonium and/or calcium (for example a lot of lime in the tap water or lime rich, clay ground) compared with the magnesium levels." Making my plant have a Magnesium deficiency. I use lime in my tap water to decrease the ph. I have been using it for a while and I started putting more in to lower the ph even more. That is probably why it got worse.....fuck...does anyone have any thoughts on where I should go from here? I am going to a hydro store today and they have all sorts of nutrients and stuff. Is there anything I should get, should I most likely buy a ph down solution and stop the lime? I think the lime is really taking it's toll now. It makes more sense than anything I have read about so far. +rep for advice.

sure doc could answer this one better...he's the water expert....but i'll take a shot at it.

yes too much nutrients/lime can lockout other nutrient...... ph down will work better for your aero-system.... too much calcium can lock out Magnesium..would be good for you to get a ph/ppm meter for you system.... also use R/O water, should help, if your tap water has too many impurities in it ...what kind of nutrients are your using? npk?

yup... and indica's are quicker to finish but you can yield allot more from a sativa.... if you have the patience/time

Yeah, growing pure sativas, or heavily sativa dominant strains indoors can be a real bitch! There are some really good sativa dominant strains with pretty quick finishing times that don't stretch like mad. Here's a pic of some Vortex. It's a sativa dominant strain with a FAST finish time. It doesn't stretch bad at all but it gives a really great sativa high. Tastes and smells awesome too! It's my favorite strain at the moment. I usually take it down around 9 weeks.
