My buddy likes a technique of diminished lighting. He goes 12 on, 5 1/2 off, 1 on, 5 1/2 off. He swears by it. I admit his grows seem to show sex quicker. I don't know what if any effect it has on his harvests though.

BTW that light schedule is for vegging, flower is standard 12/12

nothing wrong with experimenting...but yes do it with a clone or a plant you don't need, so if it goes bad then at least you have something left in the end.

then you can say if it is good or bad cuz you have seen it for yourself .....what will happen...my guess it would just stay in veg at 6/6/6/6 ;)

That is true but you could run that light schedule it would just be a matter of changing the timer on off every week to make it that way honestly im kinda wondering how that would effect it i never thought about doing something like that before and havent read about anyone trying it has anyone else heard of anyone actually trying something like that where they basically made more hours in a day? i would imagine it would cause hermie but who knows, time to do some reading.

what about while in flowering you switch to 48 hours of light at a certain point to trick the plant into thinking it should be vegging and then switching back into flowering. Ive heard it forces the plant to put out more production. any suggestions on when to do this in flowering im currently going on week 3 of 12/12
