Just got some 6 week old clones. I planted the whole rock wool cube in my own grow medium which is sunshine mix#4 gave it a good watering with phd water no nutes and got good runoff. I also have a 400 watt mh light about a foot and a half abve it, dosent feel to hot when i put my hands right about the girls. What is the desired distance for the light at this age? My temps are at about 71-75F 30rh. When can i hit these girls with nutes? Again this is my first grow. ANY help is much appreciated.

nice little tent set-up man ur soil should be able to provide it with enough nutes for a while i would start feeding it in there water in about 2 weeks by building the strength of the dosage 1/4 at a time.
Ur light looks good so far i would put it a little closer 1 inch at a time every day until u get about 12in. and use ur hand and hold it there u should feel warmth but not burning lol and adjust the light up as the plants grow but always to make sure to have that buffer u will notice ur lights at the perfect height from your plants once ur plants node spacing is only 1/4 inch apart.
What nute line are you going with?

Thanks man! I'm tryin to make sure it all looks prettty in the end. For nutes I have technaflora bc grow bloom and boost. They are trial bottles, don't no what else to use. I have no idea how big I should let grow before I flip them.... Any help would be great. It's a Dr120 tent with a 400 mh but will change to 600 hps or should I do that already? Thanks guys!

On your question when to flip to 12/12 keep in mind your plants will double in heighth and width by the time you chop.
Just wait for your plants to look like they are starting to wilt before you water them. If you watch them daily you will know when they want a drink and it will not stress the plant if you watch them daily.

At that stage i water once a week or so and u will notice they get drier and drier as they get old probly needing to water every other day once at end of flower. I use normal water not distilled but yes just like a normal watering but add the nutes in the that for the amount of water ur mixing. And water like normal.

No problem at all man i enjoy helping, i usually water to get run off than move to the next plant after im done watering each plant i go back and start dumping the saucers so the left over water is gone. And with ur 10% runoff i usually dont judge as soon as i see noticable water coming out the bottom i stop watering.
When ever u get a chance check out my shed and tell me what i think, the gears just started turning again from taking a break but here in a few weeks things will be banging.
