90% Amber tricks ~ Plant Ready?

Everything I can read says that Sour Diesel will finish in 75-90 days, that said I have a "Sour D" clone that has 90% amber trichs at day 51 (I had a 2nd set of eyes check this out), leaving me to believe it is done. That said it really has not reached a point where it has it's own stink.

Has anyone run into this before? All my knowledge tells me the long I let it go it'll start loosing THC, however it would seem like it needs 20 days to put on a lil weight and gain it's unique aroma, i'm at a loss on this one!!

Pics would definately help. Maybe somehow it started flowering when you had it in veg(or autoflower)? I dont ever count my days, I just look at the plant/trichs.

My camera can't get in on those trichs, I need that 300mm lens I've been eyeing maybe, my 200mm can't get in close enough.

You got pics. We cant accurately help you with pictures of what you are talking about.

If your trichs are as you describe this early, sounds like you dont have sour d...

Exactly, as I stated about another 20 days would certainly kill the THC. Sour D. has such a nice smell yet this just smells green, which is what is making me questions things. This plant was sort of an accidental (opps I got 1 too many clones), it got vegged in a Solo cup and flowered in a 3qt container so whatever I get off it is bonus really!!

I have had several sour d plants picked around eight weeks so idk I start counting at the day I see the first hair
And yes I go by color of triches

You will be making a mistake chopping at 50 days. Nothing is done at 50 days. You will have shitty yield, and potency if you chop now. Are you counting the number of flowering days based on when you first say flowering, or when you actually switched to 12/12?

Ok, just read you said you start counting when you see the first hair. So lets say you are act 60 days??? If it were me I would go another 5 days or so. It will be good to smoke now, but you MIGHT be sacrificing weight. ps. most people count flowering days at the first day they flip to 12/12

Not true about "Nothing" being done at 50 days...
if it is finished it most likely isnt sour d.
If it is sour d, then most likely it isnt finished.
Either way.. Without pics it didnt happen.

What strains are done at 50 days from 12/12 ? c99? That's about the only one I could pull out of my ass, and I would debate it is normally done at 7.5 weeks.

1st to clarify it's day 51 from when i switched 12/12. I confined to using a 4ft 8 T5 set up (my 400w HID draws to many amps at this home so I'm working with what I got) That plant was topped once and was way stretched.

I have a Master Kush x Skunk #1 that is following over at day 51, it's put on a lot of weight in just last 5 days, so much trichs even on the fan leaves. It will be put into 48 hours of dark in 2 days (it's really close) and I just put a Dynamite into 48 hours dark today (will cut at day 53) Here is a pic of Dynamite (F4 of a Grapefruit Clone) DSC_0051 (1).jpg

I'll give you Kush flowers fairly quickly, but just because you "pulled one at 50 days" doesn't really mean shit. Not to mention the timewarp being done at 45 days is total bullshit. Ask ANY GOOD GROWER and they will say probably not. An 8 week Kush really isn't all that impressive considering the fact kush is usually like golf ball sized buds, but anything that actually puts on weight will not be done in under 9 weeks, unless you are impatient. Seriously, go look at some of the veteran grower logs around here, and let me know when they actually chop. I bet it's 8+ weeks. The End.
