If you're in not in 100% compliance of state law, why isn't the state prosecuting? The state wants some action too. When a dispensary goes out of line, the state is more than happy to bust you.

your analysis is dead on. they have been busting those not in compliance in a very selective fashion, even here in my state too at the behest of all but one our state AGs. when they report on the bust, they list the agencies involved, and federals make the list. but the main players are at state level.

here in my state, they have only shut down 2 or 3 people who had large dispensary rings that everyone knew were outside of the law. there are a few more that are clearly outside the law, just not so blatantly. i predict they will go down next.

in the end, we will be offered a choice for president between obama and romney. during the course of this thread, many people wanted to compare candidates and i wanted to focus on the candidate themselves. while obama does have a piss poor stance towards re-legalization and scores only slightly better on medical, he is not a great choice. but our alternative, romney, fails miserably in comparison with obama. and unlike obama, there is no chance that we'd see a more lenient stance during the second term when reelection is no longer a worry.
