Greetings all! Welcome too my journal. Let's party!!!
So when I started these seeds it was sometime in the 1st week of December. I had no money thanks to the holidays, but my buddy had some MG potting soil and perlite. I have always grown in FF Happy Frog but when times are tough you gotta go with what you got. Also my tent is full and will be for another 7-10 days so, they have been under only 2 regular 4' 40w tubes from seedling through veg.
Anyway, I have been watering them very sparingly due to the MG medium. In total I have prolly given them less than 1 gallon of water combined in the time they have been growing. A few days ago they began to lighten in green and show small shades of yellow. I gave them each about 1/2 qt of water to activate more nutes. But, not enough to over water or feed. The issue cleared right up. I am letting these girls go several days to dry. IMHO this generates root growth by forcing them to seek out moisture. I have added no nutes of any kind. Since the LST in my last grow was a great success. I have decided to use this method on all my grows. The only thing different you may notice about my LST method is rather than tying them down I put babmboo skewers 'straddleing' the branches to push them down. This is personal preference to having something possibly constricting, or cutting as it pulls on them.
If you like what you see and/or are interested too know if MG is truly the 'black parriah' of growing some claim it to be. And if regular low cost lights can grow good budz, please sub. Thanks and here they are at roughly 6-7 weeks...
The strain is unknown as they are from some dank bagseed I bought about a year ago. I am 99% sure they are indica dominant though as per the leaf shape.
