Hey VO.....
Have you ever thought about useing a remote res...with float bucket....kinda like I am doing...It could be just one more 5 gallon bucket and another one just big enough for a float set up....
My two clone buckets.. the way they are connected together with the "T" in the middle..that "T" could go to the float bucket.....Then you could make a 5 gallon res out of another bucket and set it on top of a stool or someting so gravity would keep the fluids in your buckets at the same level all the time....
I don't think I would like to use PH up or down right into the buckets where the roots are....I like to adjust the PH in my barrell not the buckets....These new nutes I am useing now I only PH one time...It took me two res changes to figure out how to use these nutes with the PH swings...
I check my ph in my buckets where the roots are.... and then I adjust the ph in my barrell to correct it.....only once...if I tryed to keep adding ph down things would get out of controll in my buckets...
When I make a fresh barrell my tap water is 7.3...after I add nutes it's 5.8....I add ph down diluded with water until I reach 5.5....
All nutes are probably a little different but mine will climb a little each day after 3 days my barrell will climb to 6.8-7.0...and at the same time my buckets are 5.8 6.2.....if I add ph down in my barrell and try get get it back to 5.8-6.0....my buckets will crash down to 4.8....if I leave it alone foe 5 days my barrell is 7.2..and my buckets are 6.0-6.2....anyway a long story but if I adjust the PH once in the barrell the buckets are staying in a happy place...
Things were alot different with the GH 3 part... with PH swings.....Thought I would share my experience with changeing nute brands things are not the same................
I was thinking you might like a float bucket....and remote res............nitro......Back to my dooby.....
