1st time growing have some questions???

hey guys im new here to the site and have started growing for my first time im tired of buyin. so any way i have one plant thats prob 4 weeks old and another clone from my buddy. and two more seed germinating as we speak. i have had my plants both the clone and my 5wk old on 24hrs since seedlings.. my new girl is under a reptile 10.0 uvb cfl and my clone under a marineland natural sun light flurocsnet tube. im lookin to do all cfls from start to finish. just would love to knoe how many and the wattage for each stage ( ex. veg stage wattage and flowering stage wattage) oh i also just trans plant both clone and new girl to there permnant pots and have started feeding them they are in MG cactus soil any help would be absolutley amazing will post my profile pic as my new girl thats goin now

100W equivalent each plant. and 100W equivalent cfl's are supposedly the most efficient. i use daylights + 6400 for veg, and daylights + 2700 for flower.

You need 100 REAL watts per FIRST plant, and 50w per plant after that if they are in the same room, that should be your min. Thus, for your first plant, 4 26w lights. 2 per plant after.

Remember for Veg you want 6500k, for Flower you want 2700k. Also if you have the budget for it you should STRONGLY consider buying an HPS instead.

ok so im confused on what zoot said about the uvb.. she has been doing great under it and growing more rapid then any other plants under my flurocents.....so some one please tell me wht bulbs i should be lookin for at walmart for example like what true watts should i look for for veg. not comparable watts the true watts...i get confused on the kelvin ratings watts just make more sense to me and to sour trees i have pics posted in my album. i did have a little bit of heat wrinkle on the leaves of the kush from the reptiglo uvb but thats it.. thanks guy look for ward to keep talkin to ya

zoot is usually stoned and most people are confused on what he says including himself I think. Don't get "rapid" growth confused with stretching. I see people talk a lot about how fast their plants are taking off at times but really they are taking off for LIGHT searching for it! Not saying that is the case for yours, though.

At walmart you want to get 26w bulbs, that's probably the highest you will find from there. If you see them marked WARM or SOFT light that means they are 2700k, if you see them marked as DAYLIGHT or COOL that means they are 6500k. 2700k will look more yellow and 6500k will look more blue or pure white.

okay awesome here are some pics n catch 22 thanks for the conversion on the kelvins helps me out lot....tell me what u guys think of this ....open to any changes in set up ...really new to this so feel free to shoot some low budget plans
