I've been known to bend'em a buck eighty lol. I bend'em early when I'm ambitious, it helps me keep them low(er) and they tie down more easily. I'm not quite aggressive early in veg as I used to be because it restricts the amount of plants I can fit in my early veg box but they're still doing what I tell them to ;)

The soil is a pic of super soil. I took 8 bag of roots organics and added the following. Its only slightly different than subcool's recipe but its pretty much the same. Seriously considering recycling it after conditioning it and letting it sit for a month or so, haven't decided yet. It makes a shitload of dirt that's for sure. I just know there are plenty of rich nutrients left in the soil that can be re-used. Just reading up on soil organics and conditioning to prevent any kind of bad stuff I don't want. I don't have a composter so I would do it all strictly indoors and with organic additives.

50 lbs worm castings
5 lbs steamed bone meal
4 lbs flowering guano
5 lbs blood meal
3 lbs rock phosphate
1 cup epsom salts
1 cup powdered lime (I think?)
½ cup azomite
1 cup powdered humic/fulvic acid blend (soluble)
General Hydroponics Subcultures A & B per their recommended application

I think that's everything. I love it for a perpetual organic garden, it takes the hassle of so many different feeding schedules out of the scenario. It gets them through pretty well, I still start giving them organic flowering nutrients about 4 weeks in every other feeding - Roots Organic Buddha Bloom and a few other products that I've grown to love.

Today is the day, El Monstre is RIPE. Here are some pics, my friend had already untied her some so she's flopping about lol. This strain does not give donkey dick colas or a large yield but I just love the appearance, smell and flavor of the smoke. Its one of my favorites of the strains I have currently. She went about 59 days after the 12/12 switch. I will post some trimmed pics when she's ready.

Its hard to nail down what they smell like when its being trimmed but they have a very sweet smell. Once they're dried and in a jar I will get blown out and try to be a bit more descriptive lol. Thanks for the compliments Bshbloke and BKB. These were grown under a single 600 in a 4 x 4 packed full as a mofo with 2 other super cropped giants and 3 smaller plants, 6 total. Adding a 400w CMH next week.

Hell yeah dude. I need to either mix up some super soil or do a rdwc system soon, I'm tired of mixing up fresh nutes every other day for my soiless garden. Soiless is just a pain in my ass now. But I like the El Monstre, she looks like she'll be some fine connoisseur smoke. Your LST is the shit man, I need to be more diligent, I have slacked off so much, and I don't get the great woody oaks like you still do. Good job mang.

shwagbag thats a great looking plant. is it an ex mom? reason i ask was the way the roots are showing above the soil. i really dont see that much branching from cutting but the roots remind me of a mom.
lol i had to laugh when i saw all the pipe cleaner thingeys as ive got a couple hundred in my diddy box. they are great for training, use them all the time
asa always great job with the training, love me some wood :)

Loving the plants Shwagbag! I am reading up & will be training the shyt out of my 2x upcoming girls, my goal is 1 plant per 600w.(2x 600w) 10gal airpots /w handles.

I just whipped me up some supersoil, I had a question on how long you allowed yours to sit before you used it? I am still waiting for azomite so ill be adding that in my mix this wk.

Sounds promising! I started using mine a little prematurely, I would wait at least 2-3 weeks to let the good guys start to work their magic. Please share your progress here or link your thread!

Will do, I have a lot of training to do so I will most likely let it sit 6wks before my 2xmain 10gals get going. How long did you wait before switching to bloom after the transplant?

You're going to 10 gallons but what will be the size before that?
