I wouldnt stop feeding if I were you (I grow in supersoil ... not much knowledge about bottled nutes), looks good. In my other flower room with HIDs, I am about 10 days away from harvest and the plants have been losing so many leaves, it's kind of normal, some experienced grower are able to harvest while the plants are still lush green but a bit of yellowing so late in flowering is not a big issue I heard. Next time you may want to look into LST or SCROG with those lights to get something more like this :

Which LED are you using? Any other lights or just the LED?

It's just the same Chinese crap being sold by everyone else but with a nicer website. Don't believe the bullshit!

I got suckered into a hefty investment on LED myself soi will forever be warning others. Save your flaming.
Go ahead and ignore this guy's comment. Not all leds are cheap and not all are the same. Take it from someone who has advanced leds, they perform superbly. I highly recommend them.

Hey seems like you guys are happy. Ok let me tell you i am a first time grower and soon to be going into the flowering stage....right now im using those long florecents garagelight tubes for the veg stage they arent that big pk in 3 gallon pots from seed in foxfarm ofloor are 8 weeks old ranging from 6" to 13" in height. They are small but im proud because they all lived this long and remained green and healthy except for the one that the dog killed, it wasnt my doing. Now i was wondering are you guys happy with the turn out of LED UFO lights compared to what you were using before? Like everyone else i am trying to get the most yeild and potency as posible. I am not familiar with lightings at all but i did some reading and the ufos are economical and does a good job. I have an 8' x 8' area to work with and 8' in height...i want to cover the whole ground with as many pks as i can fit in there for flowering ...any recommendations from happy LED users?

For 8'x8' you're going to need to spend some serious coin if you want good buds with LED....

You'd be lookin at $2200-8000+....

x4 Blackstar $549.99 = $2199.96 (Low end)
x4 Pro-Grow 550 $819.00 = $3276 (Medium)
x4 Solarstorm $999.99 with discount GFP, $1999 without = $3999.96 or $7996(High end)
x4 Advanced LED DS800 $1995 = $7980 (High End)
x4 Stealth Grow LED 1250 $3499 = $13996 (Retarded end)

There are lots more, I just didn't feel like doing them all out... lol

If you want Actual UFO's... hmm... Pro-source Worldwide has the 180 watt Illuminators.... they're like $500 each, and don't cover that big of an area... lol

OMG Beef....thats like showing me a star to reach for. But really thanks for keeping it real. Have you tried other lightings that has decent to good result? I will admit i dont have that kind of money laying around. I am starting to realize that you can get what you put into it but you have to put in inorder to even beable to get it. Anything in any kind of lightings for $600 for that area? Or is that wishing upon a star again?

on this plant there is only a blackstar 240, no other light, it gets a slight amount of light from the 90W HSS but next to nothing. Otherwise my other small LEDs are used with HIDs at the moment

thats a lot of power on these ladies, how much did you pay for all the LEDS? is there more than 4? Keep the pics coming, we might finally see fat colas from LEDs!

I have a dilemma. I have two of the 357 mag plus lights and I have a 1000w hps. What's the best way to distribute the light so that I get maximum quality and yields? I only have 4 plants and I was wondering if I would get better results by using the mags as side lighting, angling them down adjacent to the HPS, or just doing away with the HPS all together and just running the 357 Mags all the way through flowering? Please get back to me on this one. It's consuming me...
Here's a thought. Keep the hps above, put the magnums on each side (also try abutting them so that they make a 45* angle aiming in from where you would be standing... place them so that the tops of the panels are below the penetration ability of the hps (if you plant are taller, you might stagger the magnums vertically.. You might put a slight angle up so that they better light the undersides of the leafs, though that may not be necessary.

I've had these lights just over two weeks. It took four days before nute shortage became obvious.

HGL Technologies 336X, they pull 462 watts at the plug, 60 degree beam angle. Five of them in a flower petal arrangement.

Under HID I ran the top of the plants at 950 umol, the bottoms came in at 450 umol.
These LED lights put 875 umol on top and 750 umol on bottom. I had to pull the plants back from the lights until I get a handle on feeding them. Quite a bit more energy reaching the leaves.

Lights going up.jpg

This is when the surround was still going up. Still is going up, putting in another high bay six tube T8 after this is posted. Brings the total up to 25 T5's and 42 T8's. More are on the way.

I had a full time test room going for the last year. Be silly not to use all the good stuff I learned, still only a portion of the knowledge available. And it applies only to the strains I grow.
I am going for it.

I blame leaf yellow at end of bud cycle on lack of blue, I fool the plant into thinking it is still summer. I replaced 10,000K full spectrum with actinic blue.

450 nm blue added.jpg

In my previous (non LED) grow this slowed yellowing by a lot. The yellowing is less with LED so I'm hoping this will be the cure again.

This is a popcorn bud way down low, I hand hold a magnifying glass in front of the camera, but parts of the trichome development show. Way good penetration.

Popcorn bud.jpg

Inside bud as well as low down, multi direction light source's really light these up.

This is a good overview, shows the bottom of the last row of LED's up high, the HID dead center, and the red, full, and UVB spectrum fluorescents in the surround.

LED, HID, UVB, Red.jpg

The plant on the right started budding christmas eve.

The next harvested plant will have just over five weeks under LED. Pictures will keep coming until a harvest is cut with 100% LED flowering time.

I'm posting lots 'cause it has been cold for over a month, -43 at noon today, -52 at night last week. I will slow down with warmer weather.
