Going to look at a new house but i was told it has well water

It depends on your wells water pressure. Most RO units expect 50-60lbs of water pressure. Too low of pressure they don't work well. You can buy a cheap water pressure meter at most places that sell lawn irrigation systems. You screw it onto a faucet and it shows the pressure. If your pressure is too low, you may need a booster pump.
Other than going through filters faster, the water quality doesn't mean much, it is the pressure to get through the RO membrane.

25PPM out you are good. You have what is called a food grade RO machine. 0PPM is worthless for human consumption but is needed for exotic aquariums. My city well water goes in an 600+PPM and comes out at 30PPM and my filters are old. When new, it never went below 20 PPM.
