It looks nice :) how long are you leaving it in veg? and do you think I should top my plant?


Day 6 7pm:

The NL looks pretty nice I can see it growing at a pretty decent rate though I think there might be a little nute burn from the slow release nutes shitty soil

The MM is growing at a steady pace also. Its half sativa half indica though I think its taking the Indica genes more

Nice man I'm subbed in! GOtta love in the begining when you can't WAIT to see new growth every day :) Shit I'm 4 weeks in and I still have to contain myself to not check on them every half hour lol.

im about a month & a half into my first grow...
i've had mine on 12/12 light schedule from a seed & now at about 5-6 inches it's entered the flowering stage...or so im hoping...i also topped it
(unknown strain)

dunno yet, probably 7-8 weeks, pending growth rate.. i always top my plants atleast once.. like me some extra colas! its kind of a must in a micro grow i reckon.
 
I'm debating toping mine but since it's my first full grow I think I might want to leave them be and just see them in their natural form :)

And like maariic said, you shouldn't use such a small pot, the plants need room to grow or they won't reach their full potential.
You might want to make something else that's a little more, wooden and bigger? Just don't want you to burn your house down, or have your plants die, that'd just be a waste now wouldn't it?

this is the micro section , if he wanted the plant to grow to its full potential then hed use big pots and a bigger grow space the whole point of using small pots is to keep the plants small .

keep the lights as close as possible , you cant give them 'to much heat ' from 1 cfl , otherwise you gonna have long stretchy seedlings .
when using cfls youve got to keep them as close a possible i have mine allmost touching the tops of the plants .
 
Thanks guys :) I think im either going to top it or fimm it. I want to make 4 nodes to maximize my space & yield. Yeah its really hard no to check them every 30 minutes though I have controlled my self and only check them every 6-8 hours.

Day 7 - 10am:

Both plants are getting its second set of leaves (y)

My NL is still growing nicely :-) hopefully i'll be able to switch to flowering 23 more days (16 days in 24/0 then 7 more in 18/6)

What do you guys think is my MM more sativa or indica? Its supposed to be 50/50 but it kinda looks more indica to me

My first grow was in a cardboard box, don't listen to these fools that say its a fire hazard lol. Concord Dawn has multiple grows in the same Uhaul box and has had very good success too. Keep up the good work and keep it simple.
 
Thanks guys, yeah I think a HPS is a bigger fire hazard especially if the fan fails .Yeah its my "first" indoor grow so im just really exciteded. Ill post pictures in the morningg cause im not close to my house

I have yet to do that. Every time I sprout a seed, it eventually gets topped. I tell myself not to, but I always do.

Good point. I was at a talking to a budtender and he said the same thing. Even if it's a male, I get a sense of pleasure when I watch it grow. :hump: lol.
So do you 12/12 from seed so it show's sex asap?
