Zip seriously your plants look great....do u have em in soil or coco?....what size air-pots are u using?....and what do u think about the air-pots? cuz I'm using smart pot. I was thinking about getting the air-pots but I hear they are kinda messy, is that so zip? I love the looks of the air-pots they look so cool, LOL. Nice grow man.

not as even as some grows Im seeing around here but im more than happy with the scrog result. im going to swear by scrog until I die lol. thank you!

thank you zibra. they're in FF ocean forest and they're in the 2.4gal air pots. I really think the airpots are legit but I dont have an HID grow without them to compare to. You heard right about the mess, they do lose some soil the first couple weeks through the holes as the soil compacts and Im sure it would be the same with coco. however, Im sticking with these things because they are supposed to be really good for the root system and since Im not currently using any root enhancers nutritionally I figured the air pots are better than nothing. but, I really need to jump on that Rhizotonic game. that shits legit


I think my patience with feeding and slowly getting the plants onto new nutes is whats giving me my success. knock on wood... lol gonna go bake and hang in the closet for a while ::

67 degree F and 31% RH. too cold and too dry? or just right and still little too dry?

Probably a smidge cold bro. Humidity is passable, a bit low, but passable! My humidity has been at about 30% my whole grow...the plants seem to not mind too much. I don't think either should be a big concern for you.

I can open the tent and let it warm up to 71, or remove the lens in the hood and throw the mH in there for some UVB light and close the tent back up. should still be a nice temp in there.

humidity dropped to below 20% at one point today :O its just too damn dry outside. I shut the intake fan off and surprisingly the tent is staying at 70 degree F with 35% humidity with just passive intake. the lights are on for 3 more hours so i will experiment using passive intake and also pulling air just from my room into the tent. trying to find the perfect balance here. pics tonight after lights out

so I lied and didnt take pics last night because I wasnt home and of course I wasnt going to wake them up for pictures. lol today I put the TD and BB seeds in seed trainer in some peat moss pucks (i think thats what they are). they were in a shot glass for 2 days with just water and BB is showing root but TD is NOT

im going to be pissed if TD fails. and then im going to buy some OG seeds. but, I really want to fucking grow this strain. time will tell. fuck.

edit : anddd my fucking humidity is staying pretty fucking low. like 16 fucking percent. gonna go smoke a fucking bowl and deal with this fucking bullshit after. lol

playing around with temps and intakes and all that shit today I switched back to HPS. took some pics during the switch. They're drinking more and drinking faster. I think that means shits goin down in a good way!

Tent closed, no intake fan or ducting from outside the closet, closet door shut, still got 80 degree F and 39% RH. which is ALMOST do able but I like to be able to leave the house and not worry about temps or anything, so im ducting cool air from my room into the tent now and its only at 78 degrees F and 39% RH, but this way I know it really wont get any hotter in there as fresh air is constantly being forced in. and I can leave the house and not want to hurry home a few hours later to make sure everything is kosher.

Pulling air from outside is awesome and I dont mind the lower temps but the low RH scares me. so instead of trying to drop the temp by 6 or 7 degrees and killing humidity, i'll settle at 78-80 F and 35% for now. I want it a little cooler, though


Im pretty sure RH is higher now because I watered about an hour ago. We'll see when I come home later. thanks for checking it out Jay

BTW smelly, got the meter in and all figured out. i mixed a gallon of water I have been feeding (molasses, bloom, and purple maxx) and got a reading of 1980 uS. So I guess thats around 990 ppm @ 1.98ms? am I saying that right?? lol

definitely, basically heres what I know about it ---

it takes forever to finish but if you hold out, you definitely get rewarded (like 12 weeks)
its really sensitive to any stress so it needs to be in ideal conditions. idk if you watch a member on here ZIBRA but he posts in the indoor growing section. he has some amazing tangerine dreams in veg right now close to the switch. needless to say Im really happy its coming along, quite quickly to be honest. its taller than the blueberry now.

its so funny to see these seedlings and then look in the tent. its crazy that all that comes from something this small. life. hahahah
