yes it works but it isnt very effective if you dont use it. which is why im trying to find the dutch here.so i can speak more fluently

ich arbeite im krankenhaus, Der Mann ist in dem krankenhaus, Der Mann ist im krankenhaus. now why the difference of dem and im with the dude sick in the hospital? the man is in the hospital and the man is the hospital. why give you one wrong sentance and then a correct or vice versa? yeah it can teach you but they dont give you allot of vocab just tons of grammar

Yeah German and Dutch have alot of those "rules" just like English. I took German for 3 years in high school, I hated it. I blame it on the teachers.
