In case nobody knew, LSD is the most powerful narcotic known to man. Even a single molecule will have a noticeable effect on the user.
Did you know that everything has a 50% lethal dose index (LD-50), where if you consume quantity X of product Y of a certain amount, you have a 50% chance of dying.
Here's a link. They test on rats basic things like different kinds of salts, butter, flour, etc. It lends important information that is "no longer maintained due to animal abuse", but its so interesting because it shows how lethal some things are. For example, morphine would be something like 1g per 10kg. Small vs large, see? Water can kill you too, if you drink a gallon. Imagine being force-fed YOUR WEIGHT in water, and having H20 placed on the Schedule 1, and put out all kinds of propaganda that "H20 KILLS!! H20 PUSHERS ARE CRAFTY AND MIGHT PUT H20 IN YOUR TEA! OR IN YOUR COFFEE! (oh noes!)"
THC has an
LD[SIZE=-1][SUB]50[/SUB][/SIZE] (dose killing half of the research subjects) value of 1270
mg/
kg (male rats) and 730 mg/kg (female rats) administered orally dissolved in sesame oil. The LD[SUB]50[/SUB] value for rats by inhalation of THC is 42 mg/kg of body weight.
Ok so think about it. You have a 1kg rat force-fed 1.27kg of PURE THC. That would be like a 200lb dude being force-fed 250lbs of 100% THC (in god-knows how much oil!), and it only killed HALF THE TIME? Thats fucking amazing. They should human-centipede that shit. I bet the LD50 for broccoli would kill the same guy with less than half that much! And 42mg smoked? What, like a poor schmuck tied down with a gasmask bong who asphyxiates?? I'd like to see someone consume their weight in ANY of the schedule 1 drugs other than THC and LIVE 1% of the time. Think about that.
Also this is pure THC, its not some 10% strain they're feeding the rat 12.7kg of pot. 100% alcohol kills because the body thinks its poison. The strongest you can consume without it being liquid death is 200 proof, or around 99.7% or something like that. I know it seems odd but it just takes a few drops of water in pure alcohol for the body to not shudder and die. (hence, beware sani-wash cocktails! Those hand-sanitizer gels, in at work or at hospitals, expel 100% ethanol when you stir in salt.)
I can only wonder why they no longer "maintain" this data on websites and are hiding it now, under a guise of animal rights?
