i have trouble walking on my spiritual path with out cannabis. my whole entire teenage life i destroyed relationships and didnt care about my life. now i seem to want to progress and the less i smoke the more destroyed i want to make my life. i feel this guilt because some people ive talked to assume that this plant will lead you away from god and too your own will. but i keep my mouth shut, what i hide from them is that everytime i stop and do whatever it is god told me to im sober but i remember the tools he gave me and i use it to help me along the way and more doors get opened by just having faith. and using the knowlege of plants and actions, how can they make you feel this is wrong?

Cannabis has been used by people long before any of those religions ever even existed.

i am much more compassionate, empathetic, thoughtful, less likely to react harshly, peaceful, level-headed, etc. when i medicate. So how could something that helps me emmulate the actions of Christ be a negative thing unless i allow my focus to be set on the plant rather than God?

i must say something, i feel the demise of my relationship which just ended today was because of her not understanding the use of cannabis with mental and physical pains. and she feels like im a kid because i have mood swings and because my personality is exuberant.

Lol.

i am a firm believer that cannabis, aka kaneh bosom, was used in the Holy annoitning oil. So why would God prohibit ANY man from benefitting from the most perfect plant that He ever created?

If you are happy with yourself and where you are in your walk then someone else's judgement of how that walk is carried out is inconsequential to your spiritual well-being imo.

I HIGHly doubt he would my friend. Also, he did not give every creature that breathes cannabinoid receptors if it was not intended that they be used.

with my bi-polar i like to break shit, i feel also this had something to do with it, yet i live in a none freely toking state so i have to keep it to a minimum .i over did it on the holidays and didnt keep a factor of dialing back my meds into account. so i had a toke and didnt help much and didnt go for it before i busted my keyboard. should have.

My meds definitely help me with my bi-polar issues. They still exist but are not nearly as big a factor when medicated. Just gives me that split-second of hesitation that it takes to ask myself WWJD.

im 50 days sober now, no cannabis, no alcohol, not even caffeine. i knew when i started my spiritual journey to find out who i am... cannabis was going to be the hardest thing i was going to have to give up to find the better parts of me ive been hiding from for so long. it's still hard, but it gets easier. with each passing day i gain more and more strength, more courage and more wisdom. i think in order to find out who we really are, to be conscious of ourselves... it is required of us to give up those things that temp us to be less conscious beings.

higher levels of consciousness, higher levels of awareness, of spirituality... how are we supposed to gain those things as individuals whilst still giving in to our temptations to sedate them? i think that also must be answered, and dealt with, by the individual. it is up to you, how you go about finding yourself... and figuring out what truth is... and if it is even attainable.

good luck my friend, it is hard to decide what to do... but even harder to decide what not to do. all the courage and strength and wisdom is already in you... you just have to find it, no one can help you but yourself. but encouragement makes it a whole lot easier :)

you've got it all in you, i trust you will make the right decision, when it is the right time

hope that helps bro

thats sorta true.

if you feel that this is the right thing to do for you, that you need to be sober to see yourself, then thats fine.

and a good thing to follow through and see whats what.

but actually cannabis can do the same thing, open minds and eyes. and reveal truths, many drugs do that.

but yes, sometimes its good to be sober and sometimes its not.

i doubt anyways that anyone would smoke forever (life after life after life unto infinity)
