heres a pic of the 70 watt i got a 150 watt too thats pretty much the same shit just bigger..i dont use them anymore though i moved onto bigger and better! 600watt hps/mh!

yea thats basically what i was planning on getting. I just needed to know how to make it so it like a regular fixture that i can plug into a wall with an extension cord

all u do is buy a plug..."like the huskey plug"..or if u have a extention cord laying around just cut it how ever long u need it "with the plug end that goes into the wall" wire it together and slap it on a piece of wood or some shit..h/o i'll take a pic..i still have one on my hermie thats in a diff room then my grow box..

ok i think i understand now. im going to to that extension cord way since i have like 4 laying around. The last question is... what wires go to what? like what color to color.

remove what i have circled, there should be one or 2 screws (i circled one).... that will be connected to 2 wires that go to the ballast (witch is underneath the reflector) take those 2 wires and extend them, by adding or replacing them with an extention cord

IS there different colored cords? or no? I am pretty sure i understand i just take the cords from the ballast and connect them to the extension cord then wrap it all with electrical tape. When its done it should be able to plug right into the wall

what i was telling you and what he told you are 2 different steps he showed how to attach a power cord, i was showing you how to make a remote ballast grow light out of a security light
