Well, time for another photo update. Today I was surprised to find purple starting to form during my daily inspection. When I originally purchased this strain we read that it had a tendency to go purple during colder temps, but during the first 6 months I have been growing this strain the temps have never been low. Until now. Winter is upon us and temp is the tents have been reaching the high 50s during lights out, and never really reach over 80-82 during lights on. And so we have, some purple begining to form. Should be fun watching this over the next couple weeks. As you can see the hairs are starting to go orange, trichome production is picking up rapidly and the calyx's are swelling.

Just a word of advice. Try to get your ballast out of your tent. Run the power cord on your cord system system to the ballast through one of the vent or cable holes in the tent. Those lumatek digital ballasts don't run as hot as magnetic ballasts but it's still good to keep that extra heat out of the tent if possible.

Following a very similar feeding schedule as the Cutting Edge Solutions recommends. A fellow grower friend uses this setup with phenomenal results. So I will follow his method and see how they turn out.

Any flowering additives to harden and add weight is what I meant. Like Gravity, Overdrive, Super Bud Blaster, Kool Bloom, Phosphoload, etc.Following a very similar feeding schedule as the Cutting Edge Solutions recommends. So, things inside the tent are looking amazing. 3 days ago I changed out the res for the last time. Any day now im gonna switch over to the flushing stage. The calyxs are getting so sexy and swollen, the pistils recessing, the trichomes thickening, its almost that time.... here is some lights ON pics, colors aren't as pretty I know.. but check it anyway...

It's hard to tell for sure but those don't look exactly ready for flush yet IMO. It might just be the lighting but they look a little airy and fluffy. Try giving them something like KoolBloom dry powder for another week. I can almost guarantee you'll add a nice amount of denseness and weight to the buds. You trichomes look like they could get a little bigger too. The heads on them are big but they haven't really mushroomed out yet. They look kind of like mine. Almost there but not quite yet.
Here's a few pics of my trichomes. If you look at the heads you can see that they are close and getting swollen but haven't really taken the shape of a mushroom top yet. Also check to see that they have started turning amber in color.

Hey considering you have grown with soil as well as Hydro now. Do you feel as if you can fit more plants in your room as opposed to the large soil containers?
