It may be hard to find that smell you are looking for.
The last RKS I grew was nothing like the oldtime skunk smell
I would look for skunk, not RKS, maybe Mr Nice has something

Niether smelled anything like skunk, sweet skunk maybe but nothing at all like old school skunk

I would not say that I enjoy the odor of a dead skunk, or a live one that just sprayed up a storm. But I do love herb that smells extremely skunky.


A few years back I had a very skunky smelling strain growing on my deck. The lots where I live are large so the closest neighbor is not what could be called close, but one day I was on the far edge of my property and he was mowing his lawn and ran out of gas and we got talking and he was sniffing the air now and then and then said how a skunk must have recently sprayed something or one up on the road must have been hit. There was a light breeze coming from the direction of my deck. When I went back I followed the odor right to my plants.

What amazed me about how intense the skunk odor was is that it wasn't a skunk strain. It was G13 x White Russian ... but it was RIPE.

That is a good type of skunky odor .... and it got even riper once cured.

G13 and white russian.... Wuz that a breed u bought or crossed urself? I had some wut I wuz told wuz kush but wen I smoked it it literally smelled like a skunk just sprayed and really impressed me and all who smoked with me. Ive had kush b4 and im uses to the smell so wen I lit it it blew me away from the stentch. Very very strong and I would love to have that back.
