Heyy

I just started flowering today vegged for 8 weeks the seed was a bagseed 1 plant its female. I think the seed was from a hermie plant or something there was like 6 seeds will this mean this plant will be a hermie? Im using 215 actuall watts of cfls ... 1 125w 2700k 2 45w 6400k, i will be adding some more 2700k in a cupple weeks. Im just using some normall flowering plant food, will this be ok to use, im using like half of what it recomends..
Its got on the bottle;

NPK 2 10 5

Nitrogen 0.2%
Phosphorous pentoxide 1.01%
potassium oxide 0.505%
Magnesium 0.115%
iron..coppor boron

If the question is if it will hermie cause you found six seeds in the bag, that means nothing. It could have been pollinated by a male. The nutes will work too. That thing is going to double to triple is size too, so if your limited on space you might way to start tying it down now. First grow?

Ahh ok it was crappy weed it just give me a head ake .. and im not really limited onspace n yeah this is my first grow

Might have have been dried and cured wrong, resulting in the headache. Growing yourself is great cause you decide the final outcome of your crop. Commercial stuff is usually treated poorly without much care due to wanting to turn as big a profit, in short time.

Most likely will be a female, commercially grown bud is almost all self-pollinated. The good news is the resultant beans are feminized.

4th day its getting bigger lol i had no heating all weekend but it was ok and back on now. How long does it usually take for the buds to develop?
i can get some more pics on soon

got some photos 5th day some of the stems have gone abit redish like a rusty colour. i think its off the cold weather or could be off the new nutes it used

So long as your room is lightproof you should start seeing the first pistils in 7-14 days. I saw my first ones around day 7-10 flowering. I would suggest training your plant next time around, you're gonna have a lot of tiny buds on the lower branches that don't get much light. Cfl's are only effective within 2-4 inches of the plant so that top light is only helping the very top of your plant. I know you're using side lighting but those are only hitting a few bud sites, it would be better to ditch the reflectors and hang them vertically as most of the light in cfl's come from the side of the bulbs, not the tips. You have white on your walls so the reflectors arent 100% necessary. Just my .02. Looking good and healthy though man, just know you're gonna have a huge plant on your hands haha.

thanks man i do have loads of pistils everywhere lol and yes the room is fully light proof. i will defo do some training if i grow again, i do have most the lights vertically and one hanging.. i will be getting some more of the 2700k to hang in there after the new year

I'm pretty sure you should have topped or lsted at least a little but I'm thinking I should have done less training. I'm at 6 weeks as well and gonna go 12/12 tommorow I think. I'm only in 2.5 gallon buckets so things will be tight in the pots. I just can't get the freakin temps right in the box. It's been a major PIA. I'm hoping that 27K bulbs are actually "cooler" in temp as well as color but I don't know how that works. Do you know if there is a temp difference? Should be 5 watt "cooler in there at least. wtf Budski. Live and learn or at least thats the goal. LOL

I bought 16 27K bulbs today. Only 100 watt equivilent/actual of 23 but I'm hoping it's enough. Here are a couple of pics. One was pinched once at the terminal node and pinned down hard. The other one was just pinned every other day or so and it seemed to love it. Lets see what she does when I put her to flower. I think they would have been as tall as your baby if I had left them alone. Way to grow!!!

Hey pacific.. I was just messing with the lsting but I will tell you it's easy to make them do what you want them to do. If things work out The pot should end up being overflowing with buddage. Tell me though bro how a guy from missouri with the screen name of pacific has a new england lobster as his avatar? We caught one that was part blue in the traps last summer. I think he still lives at the local fish market. No point in eating him as they all turn orange/red when you boil them. It's all you can eat lobster here for Christmas this year.

i know i should have done some training or topping but as this is my first time growing i didnt know that much about it and tbh i was a bit nervious to incase i f*ked things up lol.
so this plant is really just me learning. There is lots of pistels growing some have them on just one side of the branches others have them on both sides i will get some more pics on soon :):weed: peace

Bahaha I've never caught one or anything. I have just read about them and think they are neat. Did you know that 1 in 5000 North Atlantic lobsters are born blue?
Sounds like the halfy that you caught last summer was the result of an interracial couple. lol.
