YES! I've always wanted the flu for Christmas! It's gonna be an awesome Christmas for me! To top it off, the power just went out! Now I can't even make any tea for myself which is really the only thing that helps my sinuse, throat, and vomiting that isn't medicine.
 
I'm not too keen on making a fire inside or anywhere in the apartment complex, but I might have to if the power doesnt come back on soon...

a few candles under a pot with enough water for one mug, something to keep the pot slightly above the candles so they don't go out.

Oh that's a good idea, I'll go see if I can find any candles.
 
Make a tent inside a tent inside atent if you know what I mean.

Blankets over a kitchen table , maybe stand mattresses on end to act as insulated walls around your computer.
Exercise, it sucks but is important for your long and short term survival.

What are you talking about? It's like 70 degrees outside right now, I don't need to keep myself warm.

Maybe because its the middle of winter and the vast majority of America is trying to stay warm. Myself included with my wood stove cranking. Maybe it was the you are sick stuff and need tea and candles.

You must be in So Cal or maybe Florida?
Anyway good luck getting power and candles for tea.
Try some whiskey in that tea, always worked for me.
 
I'm in Charleston, SC. It was like 75 yesterday but it's kinda rainy today so it's only around 70.
 
Nice. I lived on base in MB in 66. Dad was in Nam. Spent a lot of time on the beach finding all sizes, shapes, and colors of prehistoric sharksteeth, sand dollars, sea urchins. All sorts of stuff that you dont see anymore,
But it still gets cold there

This time last year I was in hospital with the flu, when I felt freezing they refused to give me blankets, but I think you're supposed to sweat it out.

Get well soon, biscuit <3 Tylenol seems to be the universal choice for relief. Take it easy. You'll get better quicker if you rest. I now people always say that but I was stumbling about for a week before I went in and I believe now I would have gotten better quicker had I just kept my ass in bed. Now get yourself nice and cosy! This is you time. All you have to worry about is getting better xx

Flu suck's,,,Sweat it out,,,you'll still be hurting for week's to come if you have The Influenzia shit,,,I used to get crushed I mean dead for a week straight,,,till I took the flu shot,,,Did it 3-year's in a row,,,did not the last 2 year's and still not sick,,,Feel for ya for real!
