everywhere i go these days people bring their dogs. i was at home depot again a few days ago. lady walks in the garden center all smiley and show offy with her stupid little dog. first person it sees and it starts going nuts. WTF??? leave it at home. sheesh.

You know, I have a problem with that too. But only because they don't allow ALL dogs to just go into stores. Like I'm sure if I tried to take my pitbull into the home depot, they would have kicked me out of there quick, fast, and in a hurry.

I don't like the fact that those little dogs get special treatment. If I walked into Home Depot with my Kilo I would be bounced immediately. But even as a dog owner I think people should not bring their dogs everywhere they go.

That is overkill for sure. But there are many dog owners who feel that it is bad for their pets to sit home alone every day. My biggest problem is going away for a few days. I would feel terrible leaving my dog in the backyard the whole time alone..
People who take their little dogs everywhere are always crazy.. or at least most of the people i've met. I was getting my hair cut once and an old lady pulls in with a little baby stroller with a poodle in it that has the SAME exact haircut she does. I was trying not to laugh haha. And the lady was going on about how she takes her dog everywhere she goes and as soon as she turns her head the dog is trying to jump out of the stroller. I love dogs but no pets should be aloud in places like that unless it's necessary. Not to mention people can be allergic to dogs and cats

Your right FDD, this is one trend that I cannot stand.
Girls are carrying around their little dog as if it were an accessory. It is put in the purse right along with that pink razor and make-up kit. As if that little dog's whole purpose in life is to be a spoiled chick's keychain. Its a damn animal.

Also.... ittty bitty teeny tiny things are NOT dogs.. .they are rats! Real dogs weigh more then 25 pounds and DON'T ride around in purses!

Also.... ittty bitty teeny tiny things are NOT dogs.. .they are rats! Real dogs weigh more then 25 pounds and DON'T ride around in purses!
lol, I agree. I generally dislike small yapper type dogs...they all got that short man's syndrome, and I don't have the patience to humor them.
