I have played all the BF titles..I suck but enjoy the playing of it..it would be cool if we can get a few for the PS3 here to join up and have a group called the Rollers...I will have to look and see what my PS3 name is..lol....I forgot...I preordered both the PS3 and PC version...trading 1 of my PSP's in ....I am 58 and still enjoy online games..brings me back to the service days in Asia.....

Dude, you can be a highly effective sniper if you know what you're doing, especially if you have teamspeak. Think about it, birds eye view of the battlefield, you can relay everything near your position to your squad mates, cap flags and take positions like crazy. If you employ 2 snipers on opposite sides of the map it's even more effective. Have you ever seen the movie 'Reign of Fire' with Christian Bale? They send out guys on motorcycles equipped with these beacon devices to track the dragons movement, same exact tactic.

Planting claymores and securing your position, a good sniper can stay alive the whole round while racking up pistol kills and team assists. One thing I like about the BF games is that you can switch kits at random so you're not restricted to a single setup until you respawn.

I don't camp I pick off people and move, like a sniper should. M98 with a 12x and straightpull bolt. With the 12x on this gun at 500 meters the bullet will hit the first line down into the scope, 6-700 meters, and it'll hit at about half way down to the second line, and 800 and past that is 2 lines down or more. If you can figure out how to lead targets right, you can be ridiculously effective as a sniper in this game. Using the "spot button" about every 5 seconds on a different spot of the map totally helps too. lol

Bottom line, is that some people play different, someone might like to get all close with an assault rifle or other gun, and others might prefer to reach out and touch someone with a well placed headshot from accross a map. lol

Oh and I'm sure everyone knows those MAV trolls, I don't do that shit. Watching someones head pop is more my style. lol

i dont worry about snipers cause my main goal is to c4 those little buggies/hummer/anything i can and use that to kill people/blow up tanks. thats really the only reason i enjoy that game lol

Interestingly enough, I've changed my opinion on C4 buggy kills, I used to hate that shit. Now I kinda feel like it's a realistic tactic, maybe not so much the way it's employed in the game, but still the same general concept. IED's and suicide bombers are some serious shit on the battlefield!

i see it as you gotta have some kinda skill drivin up to a tank without gettin your face blown off while drivin good enough to have it get close to the tank when i jump out(fuck a suicide bomb i live to c4 another day) and then blow that bia up. shit half the time as im drivin by someone will shoot at me and happen to hit one of my c4's and blow the whole fuckin buggie up
