300w cfl anygood for 1 plant ?

Iv been vegging for 7 weeks now, 1 plant bagseed, using 2 45w 6400k daylight blue cfls. Shes got female pre flowers they have been there about 2 weeks. im guna flip the lights to 12/12 about tuesday-wednesday when i get a 300w 2700k 8u cfl. has anyone used this light befor or know if there anygood to flower 1 plant. i will be using the blue cfls in there too for side lighting and maybe next month ill get a cupple more 45w 2700k. will this bee enough light ?

yea man that will be enough. plant looks great! im currently over 3 weeks into flowering and im using just over 100 watts of cfls spread out around my plant. you should get a great yield!

personally i prefer more smaller cfls over fewer larger ones but that should work just fine, adding a few extra bulbs and using the ones you have now for sidelighting is a good idea too.

Cheers, yeah ill be adding as it gets bigger its just hard to get loads of lights around it so I figured one big one on the top then ill be to get like 3-4 on the bottoms

yeah man that will work very well. my first grow i got over 70 grams off one plant using just a 125w 6500k and a few side bulbs

hell thats enough for 2 or 3 but id do 2 for a better yield and also note to grow a few of them then choose 2 to move on with

yeah i decided to just get a 125w 2700k and use two 6400k for side bulbs.

i would get a 250w hps setup before a 300w cfl if u can...less wattage more light...way more light

i hear ya man im using cfls too, ive had about 5 successful grows with em and they are great, and cheap...but i plan to finish this run im on now with an hps to really boost my yields...ive thought about getting some of those big cfls like the one you were asking about but i found hps set ups for not much more money on ebay...might have to throw the parents a few bucks for electricity tho
anyways good luck man n keep us posted on how the grow goes with the lights u got
