what do you mean? when bring it out? i us contractor garbage bags. put them in my backpack like you do a garbage can and fill it. i have a few places some i can just walk right in and out others i have to worry about people walking on the same trail. in this case i have a freind walk ahead of me as a look out and i have them text me as soon as he hears someone and if i dont reply he blows a whisle and yells for his dog. this give me enough time to hid my pack and get off the trail. as for transporting. i throw them in the back of my pickup truck that i have a cap on. i have a power inverter. and i run to ozone gentors and i double bag again once i get out to my truck. i never go at night. not only cant anyone see you. you cant see them. and if they see your truck theyll know somethings up. always have a reason. lost dog is a good one carry a pic of him. or take him with.

when I had to haul large amounts through the woods i used duffle bags. any type of plastic bag (even the thick ones) tend to snag and rip on your way out no matter how careful you try to be. Hockey bags can be usefull too, I guess it all depends how much your trying to bring out of the woods.

Just like every other criminal act the key to succeseding is acting like your not doing anything out of the ordinary. If you look suspicious people will pay way more attention to you.

Site selections are the keys to success and minimizing risk. When that is done properly, harvesting and transport is the easy part.im planning on doing a grow this summer and have been doing a lot of research but have found very little on the subject of harvest time. i was wondering what some good ways to transport/disguise your crop would be.
Any positive input helps

I got caught with my pants down on one site, had 2 day packs with me and it wasn't enough. I intentionally used this area b/c it is surrounded by thorny berry shrubs and trees, place is a bitch to get in and out of. No way I was going to make 2 trips so I threw everything in a trash bag...shit got tore to hell trying to get out of there. Fortunately, I had extra bags.
My problem is never people in the woods etc, but rather where to park the car. 80% of the potential grow sites I scope out have to be eliminated b/c of risky parking issues.

Excellent point. I know around here if a cop sees a vehicle parked along side of the highway they usually stop to investigate. That's why I don't go at night I feel like it looks more suspicious.

Binoculars and camera are my best friends, the camera always gives you a reason to be there. On one occasion last Summer, I was parked legally watering. When I began to walk out of there, I spotted a cop parked doing speed patrol and had to hide the water jugs. Then I just walked right out with the digital camera...even said hello to the pig just to complete the nature lover cover...lol.

Yeah and you can wash it so its clean every harvest, there is some compressing but the cover spreads out so its more even.

does anyone cut the buds off and leave the majority of the stems in the woods? seems like it would take up alot of space if you didnt cut the buds off and leave stems and big fan leaves.

I once had a forest ranger (my brother-in-law) tell me that the best time to find successful grow spots was to look after harvest. He said growers would put a ton of work into hiding their grows right up until harvest. Then they would leave a trail of tracks in the mud & leaves right to the grow spot. Easy to catch them next year!

Ditto, then I of course pull the whole stalk/roots and leave the area as I found it.
I'd probably never plant in the same area twice. Not me.
As for getting the goods out, use a sheet, that is cool, but it stinks if you get pulled over. And they will smell it.
I used hockey bags, and brought it out right at daybreak and had a plan for a few different senerios. I had a cop park right behind my truck when I was bringing two hockey bags out this year.
Parking your vehicle is something I struggled with for ever. I gave up and hiked a shit load this year, maybe even losing a few pounds. My harvest was awesome and i have the munchies.
I thought if you were afraid to drive you could always stuff it in the trunk, call tow truck, and have them deliver it for you. They never get pulled over if you use a good company and most wouldn't ever go in trunk anyway.

I'm thinking you could just carry out all the giant trees on your shoulder with a machete in the other hand. Make sure you're wearing that party store police uniform too.
