Early veg and having problems

I have three plants and the pics are of the worst one. Only a month old from being planted, plants are Nirvanas Master Kush planted in Happy frog soil, PH has been at 7 this whole time. Set up in a Growlab120 with a 600w MH, I have a humidifier in there to try and keep the humidity up since I am having trouble keeping it above 60%. Set up is in my garage and temp is usually in the low 70's but at night can get down to 65 :/

They were looking great and 3 weeks in I gave them their first feeding of fox farm nutes and the next day the leaves were getting light green lines and some of the leaves looked mutated. So after that I just gave it a standard watering, the new leaves coming in look good but the bottom ones are yellowing even worse and started curling up. Now they are getting brown spots as well, is this a deficiency? I looked through my book and on here a few times and only thing I can guess would be maybe a mg deficiency???

Probably burned it with the nutes. I dont typically see leaves go back to looking good after a problem, I just focus on what all the new growth looks like. So Im guessing you already may have fixed the problem but just need to wait it out now.

Ya at first I thought it was getting better but out of no where the leaves got much worse. I was even thinking about getting something like sledgehammer to help flush it out. Should I just remove those leaves?

Is the temperature thing an issue? Also Im only watering these about once a week, they seem to stay pretty moist.

Im thinking more like a P def....
You are either not feeding enough
or feeding too much and antagonizing other nutrients
Also,take the humidifier out!!!
below 60% is way better than above

will do, I thought I read 70% humidity was optimal, maybe that is later on in veg though.

Ive got the main three from fox farm for feeding so should I just feed today but maybe at half strength instead of doing just plain water again? According to foxfarm I should be using big bloom but wouldnt grow big be better for veg?

Okay, so first off, our plants look like they're in their 1st week of vegging, which if they are you might want to cut back on the nutrients. Baby plants are capable of growing just of well Ph'd water for about 1 week. If you haven't started feeding them and they have pasted their 1st week then I would say you have a Nitrogen Def. But hen considering the color of your main stem which looks real brown as if it's burning, I'm going to say that you have already started feeding them with a bit of each of your 3 parts solutions (correct me if I"m wrong. I had a similar problem about a month ago, I transplanted a baby hindu clone and fed it my 3 parts Advanced Nutrients (grow,micro,bloom) right off the back and bottom leaves died off first. top leaves stayed green but didn't grow. Tried flushing and staring over, but it seems as if the plant was shocked dramatically at a early age so I just buried it. Give us details on your feeding, age, temp, Ph

I gave it a feeding of Big bloom as per what is recommended by fox farm and then this last week I gave it just tap water that was out for more than 24hrs, the ppm on my water is 143. The stem isnt brown its green and as it gets up further past the first set of real leaves it has a purplish tint to it. plants are just barely a month old from getting put in soil after germination(the rate on my pack of 10 was horrible also). The leaves were all looking limp but I just checked hem again and they all look they are recovery from tht standpoint. the Temp right now is 69 degrees inside the tent and will slowly go up to about probably 73 until the night and it will got back down to roughly 65 or 66 degrees.

Today is time to feed again so im either going to go with just the tap water again and a drop or two of ph down or the other option is doing a light feeding with a half stength feeding of big bloom and grow big and make sure the ph is right under 7 and ppm at 700. How does that sound?

after reading your first post again,you say that it got worse after watering with plain H2o which leads me to believe that it is underfed....and the big bloom analysis don't look like it is that strong....
If you want,I'd feed it again

OK, im just trying not to overwater, and this happy frog soil seems to retain a good amount of water for 5 or 6 days. Also you think maybe transplant them in about 2 weeks? Maybe I should add something to the soil like some perlite to help it drain better?

I would flush with fish emulsion but flush however you want, wait a couple days and lightly begin to feed with Grow. I would also foliar feed with some Nitrogen after the flush.

Just to give an update I decided to feed a little with 1tsp of both grow big and big bloom. Now the bottom leaves have completely wilted and have basically died and on the higher up leaves that were yellowing and starting to get brown spots has gotten worse. And basically all the leaves have started to yellow. So I guess I should have just stuck with just plain water again. So does that mean this is just more nute burn??

sometimes i really don't get the people on this site. They see a poor hungry plant in a container way too small, and start thinking if it's P deficient or K deficient. It reminds me of this thread, a guy showing his buds that were so moldy I wouldn't touch it with a stick, and there were tens of pages on that thread of people arguing if his buds are airy because of not enough light or low potency due to not flushing.


Transplant them already!

as was said before, ditch the humidifier. you want to be around 40-50% humidity. your temps are fine, wish my setup was that low.. go ahead and transplant them soon, you don't want to wait to long and have the roots get all grown together. and when you do, add perlite to your mix, your roots need to breath air as well as take in water and food. you fed them to much and burned your little girl, flush with PHed water and when you feed her again start off slow. i start mine at 1/4 what ever the feed chart calls for and move up slowly from there. most nutrient lines seem to be boarder line when it comes to secondary nutrients and from what i've seen fox farm has less then the norm.. something you will want soon is an additive like cal-mag, magical, or calimagic.

already took out the humidifier, ill pick up something like calmagic soon. I tried not to feed too much but I guess I learned the hard way. thanks

Cal mag IMO is unnecessary at this point, because what you seem to have is a plant that was over fed with nutrients, cusing salt build up and nutrient lock. Once you neutralize your PH and water it with plain water for a couple of days, your plant should be able to absorb calcium and magnesium from your plant food solution. The one thing you don't want to do,is keep feeding it chemicals to try and fix a chemical burn, its like an oxymoron. Make sense?

ya thanks! I think my pH isnt too bad right now at 7 but ill try to get it down a little. I checked the roots on the bottom of the containers and they are starting to try and come out the holes so im transplanting them asap
