Lost all 10 of my plants today. One reason why mechanical timers are better!

Well,
Came back to my house today to find all 10 of my plants wilted and dying. They were 3 weeks into flower and doing very well. I had left them alone for about 40 hours, which I tend to do very often.

I narrowed it down to find out that the power in my room went out for a short time for whatever reason, and my digital timer got reset. I use mechanical timers on everything except my water pumps, as I like to run them for 8 minute intervals, but when the power went out all the settings got erased. Lights and everything eventually came back on as they were on mechanical timers and their settings were saved.

Some pics:

Hoping they can come back, but it's really not looking good.

This was my first grow, and I had planned for it to be my last as it was taking too much of my time up (even though I enjoyed it!).

Wow man my condolences...looks like you were really doing a good job for your first grow too. But I have seen plants in similar conditions rise like the pheonix. Keep hope alive.

From my understanding they have backup batteries. I guess my power was out long enough that the batteries did not keep it on.

It's not over yet!!! It will bounce back I promise you it will bounce back. It may push back harvest time by like a week or so, but will surely be fine. This is unfortunate for sure, but not the end of the world.

What sucks more is that you apperantly have a nice set up that you are only gonna use once? Fuck that noise! Take up too much of your time!? After you harvest you will think differently my friend. You will be able to invest in a more automated system soon, so that you don't need to spend as much man hours.

Again your fine, 40 hours is not gonna kill them.

They make it, you have my word. I am just guessing really, but I have had plants look half dead from lack of water several times and they recover. I use all mechanical timers.
