Hi folks, im 3 weeks into nothern lights medicinal flower, 2 out of the 10 plants are touching the 2metre ceiling of the tent already, i only vegged them for 7 days, fed every 3 hours (coco), this happened last time, thats why i started the veg early, ant tips on how to reduce height for next time would be great, thanks in advance, happy growing

That does not sound like Northern Lights at all. NL usually has the bushy, conical Indica habit. Whose NL is this? cn

<edit> Pics would be a bonus.

there is quite a few buds coming along, its just difficult to access, 2m square tent, to check for males and stress issues and stuff, i think im just gona put them straight to flower after the rockwool stage and see how that goes, my main concern is burning the top buds, it happened last time and cost me a least 3 oz

Bend that bitch over.... I have the same problem.... So I bend the girls over with a string and then the side branched start shooting up and the cola will make a 90 degree turn and grow towards the lights...

MH or HPS lights? it makes a difference.
true mh induces more stretching.

I was gonna say did you top them at all? I say top them when they get to about 1.5 ft tall, and then flower. Likely the light is too far and they are stretching. Are they like tall corn stalks, just one strait up stalk?

AS the other person said, look into LST (I know nada) or other manipulation methods. You want short bushy plants over corn stalks.

Next time keep the light closer and day night temps about 78. This time just super crop the tall ones. Google it. I did mine and it didn't stress them at all. It's in the journal I my sig;)

I think you mean HPS induces more stretching
True, If you use a HPS to veg, your plants will be stretched out over 2 times the amount that a MH light will do, buds become spaced out and never got a nug over 3g large with out my MH. But for the flowering stage, you use the HPS on a flowering light cycle.
