what is wrong with these exodus cheese babies? everyone is treated equal here, no difference in feeding, water, temp, soil, light...all things are equal but i can't figure out what's wrong with these 2.

I grew one last year in soil and it liked the PH at around 6.2/6.5. Killer smoke though and it stinks.

i can't wait to smoke it :eyesmoke: IF it ever grows LOL
pH is 6.7, i think that would be all right don't you?

If mine yellows like that, i give em a bit more food.

Which breeder are those from out of curiosity?
thats from greenhouse. can you believe i fed them the last 2 waterings? idk what the deal is other then genetics *shrugs*

Well it's certainly genetics in that pic 1 is anything but exodus cheese, typical GHS, with the second plant with a bit more of a resemblance with the thin sativa leaves. What are you feeding and at what percentage or a normal dose? How often are you watering?

A word of warning, you must not learn to treat them as equals, they will often have different requirements, and should be tended to individually if possible.

Yep ph sounds good so back to square 1 hope you figure it out. I bought a couple more seeds and I'm going to grow it in my waterfarm this time. My avatar is the top of the E Cheese I grew just to give you an idea what it looks like.

poor genetics, I grew out five cheese plants from GHS, only one plant grew vigorously, the others where a waste of nutes
top notch smoke though, very stinky :leaf:

no shit? yeah i mean i may not be a master grower or anything but the 2nd a total different look to it. sativa for sure. the other ones have flat leaves and indica leaning. those 2 have never been "right". i got the from sea of seeds i think it was. i am tired of being ripped off by these seed people.

they get big bloom and some 12-4-2 liquid feed. i did big bloom full strength and the liquid full strength this time because of the weak look to them. they were fed every other watering but the last 2, which i fed them both. i water every 4 days or so when the pots are light. i learned the hard way about over watering.

thanks CEEJR it seems like maybe crappy genetics

Were yours GHS as well? Your avatar doesn't look much like e cheese either, although a corker none the less. While i say this, it's always good to remember that it doesn't matter what it's not if it does it's job. I'm just a bit iffy about breeders trying to rip folk off with false names though.

Yes GHS seed but the original was clone only so it's just a bullshit name i'm sure but the aroma the taste and the buzz were awesome regardless of the name.

Big bloom is supposed to supplement tiger bloom. I would dump that liquid fert get some tigerbloom flip the lights and see what happens.

Big Bloom use to be good stuff some time ago, when it only took 1-2 tablespoons. Now is watered down crap. Some worm castings, kelp meal, corn meal and alfalfa cubes brewed in a tea will be much better. Just drop the alfalfa cubes once you start flowering......

i guess because i don't have a lot of room in the 12/12 closet. i would rather try to nurse them back to some level of health then take up space in there. i could do it but i have other healthy vegging plants that could use that 12/12 space.
thanks for the tip on the home brew :peace:
