I had bought a little fan heater a couple of years ago, good thing about it it's thermostatic controlled (think that's the right word)
However I only really use it when it fu-fu-freezing outside.. I've raised them off the wooden floor and laid down carpet...
Ideally I should be able to grow enough through the warmer months so I don't have to grow in the winter.

Hey folks..

Finally gave them a full dose of bloom, bit late i think but fuk it...least they're not burnt..

The church on the left hand side doesn't seam to be doing as well this could that she is next to the cold air intake or the fact i split her down the middle trying to get her to fit under the screen..

This I use to suck out any excess water/feed that is in the saucers back in to a small watering can and re-apply...View attachment 1899389View attachment 1899390View attachment 1899391
A little stoney idea was to place one pot on the other so as any run off would just go in to the lower pot..View attachment 1899393View attachment 1899394View attachment 1899395View attachment 1899396View attachment 1899398View attachment 1899399View attachment 1899400View attachment 1899401View attachment 1899402View attachment 1899403View attachment 1899404View attachment 1899402View attachment 1899405

So far so good I think...I haven't hit any trouble yet...

I know why its called "Lemon skunk" thats for sure.... really nice...

P.S. Went to see a guy called Howard Marks (AKA Mr Nice), the other night, basically he was the biggest hashish importer between the U.S.A. and Europe in the 70's...Great talk he done, great guy..

Not that much stretch to be honest, the lemon skunk stretched the most with the cheese closely behind..

The smell is lovely, each one diffrent but just as nice..

Any hints or tips guys...?

Supz Jay. I was j/w how big your room is? Your screen size and whatnot? I get the 500w of light and shtuff, which is kind of a nifty way to do it. "Experimental" to say the least as the traditional lighting cycles are 18/6 or 12/12, but I totally respect tryin to save $$ and whatnot. Times are hard and we do what we must ;) Do you think you could have gotten away with less plants and still covered the same screen area? I just finished my first SCROG with 4 ladiez and honestly I could've gotten away with 2 with a longer veg time....opinions? Just a thought mane....nywayz they look great! And remember no matter what you're gonna have more smoke than you had when you started :D Happy growin!

I managed to get to the diy store and get some more seaweed extract..
The room got down to a low of 9'c..

The amesia is becoming very frosty now although stunted from the cold air in-take and possibly a messed up FIM..

Wow looking really fat Jay. I'm surprised they are taking the cold so well. Mine hit 50s (~13c) and stopped almost completely. Too bad you have to wait, but it will make the first smoke all that more enjoyable.

Don't think I'll be doing that, they'll be drinking enough to get merry although I do remember smoking a joint in front of them during a BBQ, but now that I don't smoke tobacco I can hardly get out my big water bong and take a lung full in front of them..!
I'll have to pop out to my shed and smoke in there every so often..

I'm currently looking in to making canna butter or something similar to make some muffins... Mmmm

I make cookies with trim from my harvests and I've been fine tuning this process for about a year now. I have found that the sativa/indica traits remain somewhat in the butter, but all feel much more indica due to the absorption/conversion in the liver. Onto the recipe.

1) put on a large (possibly tall) pot of water to boil, half full maybe a bit more
2) add 2 or 3 sticks of unsalted butter, stir/allow to melt completely (2 sticks maybe fully saturated depending on quality of material, if using buds or high grade trim, 3 is recommended)
3) add dried trim or buds. About 2 ounces (sugar leaf) or 1 ounce (buds).
4) lower stove temp to the point where it slowly boils, you want a 'rolling boil' not violent
5) continue to boil for 1 hour, stirring every 10 mins or so.
6) prepare a large METAL bowl to collect everything in your pot. (I say metal bc I have seen bad things with plastic. hot oils + plastic = 2nd & 3rd degree burns on hands)
7) place a strainer (colander) on top and line inside with 2 layer of cheesecloth (cheesecloth is a must, don't make this w/o finding it, coffee filters blow trust me)
8 ) CAREFULLY pour your pot through the strainer/cheesecloth setup taking care not to spill or get plant matter above the edges of the cloth
9) lift strainer and press plant material with a spoon while supporting strainer over your collection bowl.
10) allow this to sit for 15 minutes to cool some, then wrap the edges of the cheese clothe to make a 'sack'. Hold over bowl and squeeze as much better as possible, it will be hot be careful and wait longer if it is still too hot to handle.
11) place your bowl of water and butter in the fridge over night
12) the next day, use a butter knife to carefully 'jab' the edges between the butter and side of your bowl. It's a iceberg you want to break free in as few of pieces as possible.
13) turn the sink on, let it get really cold and then carefully rinse the bottom side of the butter (side that was touching water) to remove plant contaminant. many people skip this step and it's the reason for terrible tasting edibles.
14) break into pieces and place into a tupperware container. in a couple days you may find a few drops of water in the bottom, just carefully drain that off.
15) put your container in the microwave on high for about 1 minute, stirring every 15 seconds, this will liquify the butter and prepare it for baking.
16) toss you left overs in the fridge, good for 1-2 months or freeze for years potentially.

Ok, now bake your cookies using the resulting butter. I recommend the Betty Crocker chocolate chip cookies. They require a entire stick of butter and this helps accomplish the 1 cookie knockout your looking for. Bake as directed replacing the butter, be careful not to over bake.

Great recipe man... Must give it a go someday.. Although I was talking to my cousin the other day about harvesting and Im very shy when it comes to trim, ie any leaf with crystals doesn't get chopped..
So I wouldn't really have as much good trim as some others, however this will have to change as I want to try a go at bubble bags..plus a method using some strong alcohol, can't remember the name of the stuff but it's strong shit...
