ok what is the ideal setup for just one plant
Your ideal setup...I would not recommend the light you have from the dealership unless you know what spectrum of light it puts out. Heat does not mean it is good. You are probably going to spend 200 bucks to grow this plant from now on anyway, so invest in proper lighting that you won't upgrade later, but use with whatever lights you MIGHT get later. For instance, you could spend 100 bucks on 6 to 8 cfl's (and the wiring etc) or 115 on a 250 or 400 watt light. The HID will give you better results. Heat will be an issue so read up on properly ventilating your grow room. Look at htgsupply.com, they are good and you will like the free lighter...

It is all up to you, but please spend some time reading the growfag here as it has a BUNCH of information...not only that but everyone's grow is different and you might have a bunch of stuff already (that light from the dealership just might be usable, but you need help determining if it is, post a pic).

If you are serious about growing you have come to the right place. Welcome to the site and hopefully we can help you out!
Good Luck!

Looks healthy right now. You should prepare to transplant to a very good grow medium before flowering. You have a lot of work in front of you my friend. You will enjoy it no doubt.
So have you decided on a grow area, lighting scheme, ventilation, grow medium, etc?

ok ever i bought a new light online it's call a spectra here s the link to see it ... Spectra Max High Output Fluorescent / HP Sodium Hybrid Plant Grow Light Systems by Sunlight Supply at Home Harvest Garden Supply wil this work ok... it better i just spent $460 on just the lighting . this light is pretty bad ass i get 24,000 lumen so tell me what you think
I hope it works too...but you could have gotten High Tech Garden Supply for much less...and twice the lumen output. More heat probably, but worth it. Your grow light ought to work pretty good for one plant though, as a rule of thumb the closer you get to 10,000 lumens per plant the better. Keep that light as close as you can to the plant without burning it.
