soo i was reading about jilly bean and saw that it was a very nicce up beat high great for bad days can anyone share what they think is it a great strain share some info please, also i wanted to know a very strong strain that will leave you couch ridden for quite some time something great for movies and falling asleep too please someone enlighten me with some strains as many as you know, another thing is jack the ripper i heard that JTR was a very strong strain can anyone share? thanks.

I've grown both. Jillybean isn't really too couchlock but it is an indica high. Its very super euphoric and happy. I describe it as it does exactly what someone who never smoked pot before expected pot to do. It makes you happy and giggly and everything seems more colorful, also it tastes and smells absofreakingly amazing. Your mouth after tastes like you just had some sweet candy of some sort.


As for Jack the Ripper I didn't like the high. It was SUPER potent but to me the high felt like someone was waving a hand in front of my face wherever I looked so I only saw some of everything in front of me. It was a very frustrating high for me, but I will admit it was super potent and smelled and tasted fantastic. Trippy high.

Both are potent but do entirely different things with their highs. I HIGHLY recommend Jillybean. Its perfect for movies, or video games, or hanging with friends. Jack the Ripper is great if you are in pain and really need a break from it.

My least favorite would be Agent Orange.

If you wanted to grow something that would ensure you had pure dank weed i'd say vortex. Grow one vortex seed and you got yourself some magic! Spacebomb was just like Pacman to me. The mushroom looking trichomes and that sweet candy smell just brought up memories of 80's Pac Man games. Querkle made me feel like I was eating a bowl of sweet cereal while watching cartoons on saturday morning as a kid.

TGA Subcool strains are my favorite strains on earth, and i'll always be growing their gear. I feel comfortable growing just one seed of his gear and if its female I know it is going to wind up dank even if it doesn't meet the expected phenotype. Now i'd never grow Agent Orange or Cheesequake again, but i'll be growing Qrazy Train till the day I die. I can't recommend their genetics any higher for the personal smoker who wants the dankest of weed.

#note Even though I hated Agent Orange, it was EXACTLY as described by Subcool himself. It DID make my bong water smell of oranges (tho I never tasted it ) and the high was most trippy. My problem with it was the high was much much too trippy without a lot of euphoria and it was super potent. Smoking it made me feel like it was a hot day and I dunked my head in ice cold water then whipped it out. It was too shocking to the system for me but it did kill my pain and help my digestion. So even tho I didn't like it it did live up to the description perfectly, which is what makes Subcool gear so great. YOU know what you are getting because when you read the description that IS what you'll see.

now would you say i would be safe buying one fem seed? do you think i would have any problems with it not growing?

THey don't do fems. 50/50 chance of males. But the females are amazing and worth it.

for couch lock: Mr. Nice Medicine Man is my favorite. or any of the landrace kush strains(afghan, Kashmir, master kush, hindu) they knock you out.

if you are curious about tga, get either Vortex, qrazy train, chernobyl or pandora's box. all of these are top shelf and stable with growth being similar on most pheno's. i loved agent orange and jillybean, and like tardis says its pretty euphoric, almost like being flooded with a calm but happy and upbeat indica high. i liked alot of the more JTR dominant agent orange pheno's i grew, smells like ripe oranges or lemons and alcohol wipes, this stuff will clear your sinuses, same for pandora's limey lemon candy(from the JTR).

Im interested in jilly bean also can any one coment on the growth pattern. It says its a mostly sativa strain but on tga's site it says its growth is short and bushy. also, how much is it expected to stretch after switching to 12/12. After reading of many strains the high of jilly bean that i read about i want but it helps to have an indica build and not a great amount of stretch after switching.

thanks for that too! i mean, i have some really potent gems locked safely away, but really only a very small handful of flavors. and i obviously would prefer a good solid stash of both!

I got several singles of different TGA strains. Some phenos were not so great, but that's the luck of the draw when you grow just one sample. I also got some males which I have used to pollinate other TGA strains, and some other breeders strains, too. I had males from JTR, Vortex, Jillybean, Agent O, and the Flav. Of the females, Cheesequake is the most remarkable- looks, taste, smell, yield, buzz, and it's done at 7-8 wks. I had a good Querkle, too, and made many seeds.
Here's the Cheesequake at 6 wks (last week).

ive got a orange velvet flavored jillybean, cloned it during flowering so it was stunted but its had a month and a half of veg and began 12/12 on the 25th, this was the best pheno of the 5 pack good producer. you can smell the orange funk when growimg indoors. smell like oranges candy and fruit after 4 week cure, the flavor was strong after 2 weeks after drying in jars. these seeds are sold out but i might order more i think there are more potent spacequeen dom phenos.
