I spent the last few days building a bud dryer out of an old cedar lined closet, it's about 6'x2'x5', I built a framework inside with 12 racks using redwood I than stapled window screen over them to create the racks.

I haven't decided to go with air being pulled through the bottom of the closet by a 6" inline fan out the top, or go with a dehumidifier inside the sealed bud dryer/closet.
What do you guys know about the subject?

Uc~

I would say to go with the inline fan up top. I would think a dehumidifier would dry em out a little too fast. I could be wrong but it seems logical

Wow, man. Love the dry area.

You so make me want to expand. I'll get rid of my roommate and turn her room into a three light verticle setup with four oversized UC tubs to house each plant. What do you think?

man UC the drying closet looks great. although i would recommend maybe trying it without a fan/dehumidifier first. i had a fan in a drying closet once, no airflow on the buds at all, just ambient air movement above. man they dried out quick, way too quick to cure right. plus i would imagine your cedar/redwood will absorb a bit of moisture off the bat.

cheers

I installed 2 50cfm fans that exhaust out the top of the bud dryer.
I also drilled 12, 1-3/4" holes in the bottom of the closet and stapled screen mesh over top to prevent larger particles from entering the cab during bud drying.
