Texas has PLENTY of traction in Texas.Mexico has a long history of MJ use. . .hell even the word "marijuana" itself is a Mexican-spanish word.
So it seems pretty natural to me that the American state immediately adjacent to Mexico, one that was in fact once part of Mexico, and that still has a significant Mexican-American presence and heritage would also have a big MJ presence in the State.
Anyway, TX is a pretty socially conservative state; despite the history above, I don't think MMJ has much traction there. Meanwhile, possession of small amounts of MJ by adults has been decriminalized in Mexico.
