Heheh WoW the best game to date? hardly, it caters to the lowest common denominator. Everquest was the first real MMORPG and paved the way for games like WoW. It isn't dumbed down for the adolescent masses like WoW was and was infinitely more rewarding.

But IMO an MMORPG would be in a separate category than most video games. Super Mario World on the SNES is on my list of best games

WoW Cata and wotlk suck, it's what drove me to quit... Arena was tons of fun but its all been ruined now..

oh and I went to the laborynthian (spelling? lol..) but it was too high a level for me (lvl 17 ATM) to be able to do anything. When I went in and opened the gate, I walked through and it closed on me. Then several (must've been 6+, maybe 10 IDK) skeletons animated and a skeletal Dragon (Wyvern?) came in through an opening above.

I died. lol. It was a pretty epic sight though, can't wait to get to a higher level.

Oh and just to get in I had to fight two Frost trolls at the same time, which really didn't work out for me because it still only takes like 3-4 hits for me to die to them and it still takes like 5 minutes to kill one. Took awhile... :(

Also, Frost Dragons are bitches I had one chasing me for like 10 minutes the other day and they still pretty much 1 shot me so I am forced to run when I see them. I can kill Blood and Fire Dragons but the Frost Dragons are beastly as hell.

Im not Adam, but Adam seems like a pretty cool guy.

There is something about most games today that they lack
I think it is that older were made good, the people in charge would take pride in their jobs
now many companies just worry about ripping off little kids and meeting release dates.

Older games had every aspect of them refined to pure gold
Think about the music
the best music comes from old arcade and nintendo games.

No lie, I have 15 dragon souls and NOTHING to use them on. I haven't been exploring enough because the mountians are bitches.

There are like 5 dead dragons in the streets of Riverwood.



I feel like a huge fucking dork saying this, but I've logged in nearly 50 hours already.

If you increase you sneak levels and add some perks to it you can sneak up on bad guys and kill them instantly with a sword or dagger. I choose to sneak and snipe assholes with my bow.

My boyfriend and I constantly fight over the game and whos character is more badass. I told him, I maybe I shouldn't play the game and make you watch Desperate Housewives with me... or you can watch me play the game and shut up! Not very many videogame playing men have a girlfriend who knows who Ulfric Stormcloak is.

I judge by the depth of the game, the vastness, and how many things you can do. WOW has arenas, battlegrounds, instances, pets to farm for, flying mounts, playing with real people as your "companions". I'm sure everyone has different opinions.. IMO wow is the most massive game ever, in terms of what you can do in it. Most of the games you listed have to be a joke. street fighter? I admit I loved it but it's so one dimensional in comparison.

Back when lvl 70 was the cap I had a Lock decked out in all arena gear and fought a pally decked out in all instance gear riding his war bear.. the fight lasted over 10 min, I know this because I used 5 death coils in the fight (2 in cool down). It was the most intense gaming experience of my life and I will remember it as well as any christmas in my childhood.

I wish my wife would smoke bud and make poisons in Elder Scrolls. She already watches Desperate Housewives.
