Can't I just start seedlings directly into flowering?

Or just keep asking your questions. Last time I checked that is what this forum is all about.

Well you can put the seedling in 12/12 lighting. Doesn't mean it's going to start flowering. The plant needs to go through some veg time, it has to get to a certain size and build up enough hormones to start forming flowers.

Ohreally? I have done 2 12/12 from seed grows and they all started showil pistils in 2-3 weeks just like if I vegged em and flipped the lights over.

I guess I just have really good flowering turning time lol. My plants start showing pistils with in a week of flipping to 12/12. When I tried growing them 12/12 from seed it took them about 2-3 weeks to show pistils.

Your yield will be better with a solid amount of veg time as well, Bigger plant = Bigger Yield. The only real advantage of flowering from seed is getting your bud quicker.

Depends on the size of your cab. Some people have small cabs and veg time is some to mostly unneeded
