HASH MAKING question

hey all now ive seen hash that was pure black and ive seen some that have been a light tan color. i was wondering how you make the hash pure black and sticky which method would you say the used??

Use fresh frozen high quality trim. That's what did it for me.

alcohol hash if you leave your leaves for a few days in the alcohol than strain and let the alcohol dissapate youll be left with some really black sticky icky

rubbing alcohol the 93 %
